    Question Purses - what kind?

Ok, so I'm not really caring so much about the designer ones..just looking for something practical & useful, but nice looking. I also don't care about leather.
I now carry a giant ass purse that's mostly useless, I need something (not too small though) I like & have a bucket drawstring bag, but I feel it's not quite big enough?
Does anyone have one of those backpack purses, if so, do you like?
    Thanks!

I hate purses. I carry a tech backpack around. If I'm running to the store, I just have a wallet-y thing that I carry inside with me.

This is about as close to a purse as I want to get. I had a k Mart backpack purse that I absolutely loved and used until it completely fell apart. I hate purses with a passion and usually use a backpack. I've ordered the utility pack in the link since I'm quite frankly tired of being trailed around stores because of my backpack.

I prefer purses that are totes and have two straps. The one strap or hobo bags are hard to reach into quickly and easily. Cross body is good if you need to go hands free and not worry about the bag slipping off or being snatched off your shoulder.

Sadly people judge you and your wealth based on things like your handbag. Since I don't carry designers, I do carry real leather. But I'd rather avoid people sizing me up based on handbag by not carrying a handbag which I do sometimes and also to free my shoulders and back from the extra weight.

I agree on Zara, also Mango and Aldo for nice-looking decent quality handbags at high-street prices

Lately I've been doing most of my purse shopping at Kohls and Marshalls/TJ Maxx. they have some really nice ones that I get tons of compliments on! and you cant beat the prices there either. I also really like the variety that they have.

I love shopping for purses at the Saks Off Fifth Stores! They're nice quality and super cheap (for what they are)!

I actually purchased my work bag from there for only $49.99 and it's a super durable Betsy Johnson bag! It's super huge! It's like a mini-suitcase, except it fits around the shoulder and isn't too heavy.

My favorite non-designer brand is BeBe.
They look more expensive than they are ( most are $125-$240).

I've found Betsey J at Ross too! I bought two there and used one so much it's dead . I still have the smaller one.

I like TJ Maxx for name brand purses. They have such great deals! My last purse from there was a gold tote from Michael Kors. Shiny purses make me happy.

I like to have one medium-sized bag with a zipper (I just feel more secure that way), preferably large enough to hold a laptop, and one tiny crossbody bag.

My loungefly Hello Kitty purses. I might get a care bear purse soon. I go the less than mature route when it comes to purses and debit cards. I have carebears debit card too.

I have a tote from Steve Madden that's lasted a few years now and it's really cute. I used it for school and when traveling and it's still in really good condition. I don't remember the price but I'm sure it wasn't expensive like $60 or something.

I love purses, totes, evening bags.
I made the mistake of selling this Betsey Johnson telephone purse on eBay a few years ago, when I was tight on cash.
Of all the bags I've thrown out, donated, etc...this is the one I miss.

I love charming charlies. They have a few stores in Atlanta and surrounding areas. A friend of mine in Ohio said they also have some there. All the purses are $39.99 and you can buy them in different styles, sizes, and colors. They also sell nice affordable accessories to go with them like scarves, earrings, bracelets, watches and rings etc. http://www.charmingcharlie.com/

I hate them too, I usually just carry my keys, wallet and phone in my hands. I do like little backpack purses though, I have this in black and I don't remember the last time I used a different purse: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KV65J3G...ing=UTF8&psc=1 I actually get a lot of compliments on it and women asking me where I got it which is odd because it's so boring.
