Default Start slow or dive in?

For other dancers out there who were hesitant about dancing, but ended up being successful, which is the best way to go about it? There is a club nearby that seems pretty laidback, the girls are nice, but business is slow. I feel like this would be good for me so I could get the hang of dancing in a place where there's less pressure and once I'm comfortable I could switch to a club where I'll earn more money. On the other hand, sometimes diving right in to something is the only way to really learn. There are a few clubs that are farther away but much busier. If they're busier and I messed up or got nervous maybe it wouldn't get as much attention since there's so much else going on?

So for the girls like me who are a little shy, what's the best way to start?

Also do most new girls start on day shift?

A dive is a good place to get your feet wet, however, lots of dives are dirty and that might turn you off the club altogether. Summer is a bad time to start, however, most clubs are in their slow season, and you might not make enough to make it worth your while. Find a clean dive, work some dayshifts, test out a few different hustles and styles and get better on stage before you try a bigger/nicer club. Good luck!

Thats what I did... I worked at a dive for a good 3 months, mastered the game. Made more then anyone else and moved on to one of the nicest clubs in my city now im slowly mastering the game again...
I think its a good idea to start small, learn the hustle get your feet wet but dont stay to long and get comfortable there.. keep your ultimate goals in mind

I would go to the club closest to you first then when you feel
Comfortable go to the ones that are farther. Has nothing to do with which is or isn't a dive, either way you're going to learn. No, if you want to do night shifts, you should learn night shift because your hustle will be different for
    Both shifts.

Being a newbie in a busy, money making club is a hustle in itself & you will make plenty of money just being that new girl while you're learning to hustle in the process.. however, it's where you're most comfortable . I was shy & found it easier getting topless with a lot going on around me rather than the slow club I started at for only two nights until I went to a busy club . Those two nights my top never came off at that slow club but soon as I hit the stage at the bigger club, top OFF without second thought lol but that's just me . & I agree, if you're going to work nights, just go in at night.. Day shift & night shift are completely different .

Dives can be just as intense/difficult/off putting as upscale clubs, just in a different way. I guess it depends on your city maybe?

I think diving in is a good way to go. Or semi diving in. Maybe try something mid level to start or have your first night shift not be saturday night.

If there are a lot of clubs in your area you dont have to commit to one for a long period of time. By my 7th shift dancing I was at my third club (I left the first one for good after 5 shifts and the second two I kept both for a couple months). My first 13 months of dancing = 14 clubs in 3 cities in 2 states. Variety makes you a better dancer and able to adapt to situations better. So you can totally work both if there is no schedule involved.

Most new girls start on the shift the mangager gives them or the one they want. Day and night are totally different worlds.

Maybe try the closer one first and see how it goes, just to learn the business and see if it's right for you and if it's too slow then change to the busier club? Or stay if your liking it there? I started at a dive for a month where business was reeaaally slow but I learned the basics, then I moved to a closer upscale club which was probably too soon for me tbh as I've only been stripping for 2 months so I'm very new. I'm now going to try and move to a club where I can stay long term hopefully. Good luck with whatever you choose to do!
