    Default Changing ISP

I currently have upload speed of 0.60-0.80 depending on the day with download of 5 through Century Link. This has been the highest available until now when Suddenlink is offering upload of 1.5 and download of 10 meg (wth is a meg lol). I assume that despite what she guarentees those speeds will fluctuate some so I could really only expect around 1 upload with regularity. I pay $16 a month with Century Link but with SuddenLink it would be $49. Is the difference in speed worth the extra $$?

Centurylink in central florida offered speeds up to 2mb. Maybe you can call them back and ask specifically for the highest they have? But I hated them to be honest. And in my opinion if you're gonna spend $49 for only 1.5 why not throw in more money and get at least 5mb? Who's the cable company in your area? Ask them about their deals and bundles. I think you've said in the past that you work on SM? Your money will go up guaranteed if you increase the quality of your internet. And then after that start looking at your equipment.

If high speed is not in your area meaning over 5mbps for upload then you need go with the highest available you have. so that means getting the closest to 5mbps upload speed as possible
