Anything by canon is great. Look up what they have in your price range - you can't go wrong with canon and it lasts forever.
1)what is your budget?
2)do you need point and shoot camera?
3)which pics you want to take?
my biggest suggestion is a panasonic gh4, and olympus lenses. if you need rec which lenses i can suggest. pictures come up nice, you can film 4k vids., hd. https://marketplace.500px.com/ here you can see quality of each camera just type brand and model.
if you have more money buy a nikon.

Ooh, thank you great ?'s I didn't think of, sorry..
1. Well, under 300. if @ all possible, the lower the better, honestly Idk know prices..
2. Yea, point/shoot is prob best, I would consider others
3. Pics of myself for various things incl camming, dating sites, also going back to sell on Ebay.
I didn't yet check out the link you kindly provided, but I will THANKS so much everyone!![]()

-If you are ready to up your budget a little more, I reccomend the Canon G7x https://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerSh...ords=canon+g7x
It takes DSLR quality pics, records 1080p and has integrated WiFi. Also, you can carry it with you in your bag, everywhere.
Unfortunately, I heard about it right after I bought my DSLR, or I would have got that one.
-If you want a DSLR and you are looking to upgrade to better and better lenses in the future, I reccomend the Canon EOS 700D. This is what I use and I am very pleased with it https://www.amazon.com/Canon-700D-EF...canon+eos+700d
You can use it on a tripod and buy a remote control for it, so you don't need to go and press the button all the time when you want to take a pic or record a video. I have this remote (is very small, you can hide it in your palm) https://www.amazon.com/Canon-RC-6-Wi...rds=canon+rc+6 . You just pose and press the button)
Anyway, what I like the most about the 700D, is the screen. Is touch screen too and you can change it's angle so you can take selfies) It shows in the pics.
Also, when you gain experience and upgrade your budget, you can always upgrade to a better Lens. This is the advantage of a DSLR.
I knooooooooooooooooooowwwww I gave u expensive examples, but I like to go for the best hehehe)
I don't know what your earnings are, but a $500- $600 investment is pretty recoverable when you provide good quality![]()

I bought a point and shoot, Canon Power Shot G16 last year. It has many capabilities that you would not always find in a point and shoot camera. You could probably buy one for 400 dollars. I use it for taking pics of me and selling items, including handmade items online. It is an awesome camera. It has a macro setting for close ups too. It is wi-fi, records video and is fairly simple to use. It is one of the best cameras I ever owned. Mine came with a little book, but you can buy the more detailed book on the g16 on Amazon that tells you so much about this particular camera and how to use it and teaches you how to take better pictures.

Iphone

I second the iPhone 6S suggestion. Surprisingly the iPhone 6S takes some great quality pictures!
There's also a phone Huawei made recently with Leica which takes some superb pictures: The Huawei P9.

Sony a5000, small, light and incredible picture quality. Far surpasses any cell phone and I even stopped using my nikon just because the Sony is so much more simple
