    Default uk ladies-bank accounts

    Hi ladies,

Just wondering does everyone have a personal account for their camming or a business and if its a business who did you go with? The santander business start up account looks good but they want a detailed description of the business so a little unsure now. Any advice would be great thanks

You don't need a business account as you're a self-employed individual, so just choose a decent personal account.

I've got a Payoneer account I transfer daily to now on AW, little more motivating for me that way. There are charges on the card for when you want to withdraw/conversion fee. That's why when I get paid, I take everything out in one go and then put it into my UK current account

Nationwide but I cash my usd cheques at tsb fir around £5 charge. They do it within 2 weeks unlike nationwide who used to take about 6 weeks and now don't even accept cheques under $200.

Usually I only use US sites now that pay via payoneer global transfer x

I have a business account in a business name so I can take payments direct from some guys. Not all banks allow personal accounts to be used for business, even self-employed and it depends on the amount of transactions.

Nope! Been with them a looong time. My US checks WERE clearing the next day (I was pleasantly surprised), but this year they're all taking 5 weeks.

I'm going to have to find someone a bit higher than who I queried it with last time (manager or supervisor of my branch) becasue all they said was "it does state up to 6 weeks but could take longer" and "is this your first cheque from the company?"
So yes, it's on my "to-do" list.
