Default Want to use a 40 inch tv for my monitor but......

Ive got a 40 inch tv that I want to use for my monitor but I'm trying to figure out where to place my cam so that its at a good eye level. I have a logitech 920c and a logitech conferencecam bcc950. So I could use either. Any suggestions?

Anyone else use a 40in tv for a monitor and how did you get your cam at a good eye level so it doesn't look like your looking up all the time?

I have a 32 its mounted on my dresser then my camera is on a tripod. I got a mini desktop tripod that sits on the dresser and then desktop is on the floor bside the dresser.

Basically you need to figure out where your going host the TV before you can figure out where to put the camera.

I have a tripod but its a tall one, I thought about getting a smaller or mini one tho. Also forgot to mention that I usually cam from my desk and chair which makes it harder finding a spot for the cam so that there is a good view and it eye level but my bed is also behind me. Would love to stay at my desk if possible

I don't use it anymore, but when I did have a large TV as a monitor, I did the same as others with the mini-tripod. Just adjust the tripod placement and the windows on your screen so that the tripod and cam aren't blocking anything you actually need to see. Most sites' interfaces have some space that is essentially useless, so your cam can sit in front of that bit.
