Default Using similar stage names (modeling)

(Mods, not sure if this is more suited to here or Other Work... do as you will)

So I am going back into modeling and looking to change my stage name. I have a fantastic one in mind.
However, it was/is in use... This girl was apparently published in a few very small obscure magazines, but her photos are nowhere to be found except on her own website. She still has a website & Model Mayhem up, but they have not been updated in over a year, her Twitter/FB/Tumblr links are broken, etc. The name is not legally trademarked. This name is in "Davey Havok, Megan Mayhem", first name + adjective style. She now seems to be modeling under a first name + 'regular' last name, and even that Facebook has been untouched for 2 months. She is not anywhere near well-known enough that even a photographer would say "Wait isn't there another Name Name?"

I am thinking of spelling it one letter differently (adding an N to the last part), that way if Googled I would be the only one to come up instead of what few sites she still has up. Is there any issue I could possibly run into with this, aside from maybe her sending me a nasty email if she ever stumbles upon it?

I chose a name that I had no idea another model had (I do domme videos). I found out after I had changed everything and was at a point of no return. I never heard any complaints from her or other people. I also just saw another model with my same name with slightly different spelling. She looks new.

I don't think its a big deal. I've seen a few porn stars with the same name and no one seems to care.

Just keyword and SEO the crap out of your name on your site(s), be active on Twitter, and you will rise in search rankings until you're on top of her. The most important thing is that when someone Googles the name, they find you first. I checked my model name first to make sure no other camgirls/PSOs/porn stars had the same name...but it turns out there is an orthodontist with the same name as me. I tweet, blog, have myname.com though, so when you Google the name, I come up first. Problem solved.
