Default My Payoneer card was disabled

I have been logging onto my Payoneer account from my phone all evening and wondering why I wasn't paid. It never showed me any message. I just logged on from my laptop and saw this message:

Due to a change in our issuing bank, your old card is no longer active; Please order your new Payoneer card here.
All fees associated with issuing your Payoneer card and all funds from your previous card will appear on the new card once you activate it.

Did anybody else have this happen? I don't know what I'm going to do. I can't afford to wait on a card to come. I have bills due today and tomorrow

I think u cant do anything else but order a new card? Depending where u from u could activate direct deposit via Payoneer but if u used a card til now means that's what u wanna use from now on too i assume. You were not been informed about this issue that ur card will no longer be active, was ur card still valid? Maybe u only logged onto Payoneer account from ur mobile and not the pc so u did not see any warnings etc? Guess u need to wait for a new card now.

If you have a friend with Payoneer account you can transfer your money to that account (it's free) and get your money with her/his help.I did this once and after that happened I've ordered 2 cards: one for me and one for my boyfriend so now if I loose my card or is blocked I can take my money. Always prepare a backup because you never know what could hapen

Hey Bobo, i wish to ask u something, u got 2 cards for the same account or ur bf needed a separate account to get his own card on his name?
I ask cause i been in a situation some years ago when living abroad and wanted 2 cards myself, one to stay with my family here and one for myself to use abroad but Payoneer said it was not possible to give me 2 cards for the same account so i found a solution to open a studio account on a cam site and make my ex fiancee the owner of that account and me the model for the studio lol so he got a card on his name with the purpose to make transfers between cards BUT when we had his card i was not able to make a transfer from my card, i contacted payoneer and they said "in order to make money transfers between cards u 1st need to be paid by the cam site u opened the account with.

So the card was useless cause i did not work the cam site with the new account more than 2 days when they discovered i had another independent model account there so they closed my new account (that was imlive site). This situation happened 5 years ago, at that time u could only open a payoneer account thorough a 3rd party partner like a cam site or other partner sites, not sure how is now.
Pls enlighten me how u did it and if u ever made transfers between the two accounts, i am really curious on this matter thank you!

He applied directly on the Payoneer site and he gets the card and first time we made the transfer Payoneer gets 25$ for activation. After that all the transfers were free for my side and they take a fee of 2$ for load in 48h or 5 $ for immediate load on his card. You can try also to reffer a person to open an account on Payoneer and you can win 25$ for refferal.
And as a curious thing : he gets a card with chip and I get a card with magnetic stripe only

Ty for input xx! Guess they changed the rules cause when me and my ex had that situation we phoned them and asked to talk to a manager there & explained what we wanted to do and told him that was the only way to sign up for an account, thru a cam site & asked why is not possible to just sign up for an account w.o a third party involved and get a card and make transfers between cards?
I bet there were other people with the same or similar issues so they changed rules there and are now offering more options.
Also, i renewed my card recently and it came with a chip as the old two cards were with a stripe.
It also looks a bit different in design/ color shade now. ty again xx

Payoneer has done this to me twice, claiming "fraud" but I never had them say they were switching banks. It's so frustrating that they do this at random (and they charged me $$$ both times to swtich.

I did read that someone had this happen and they called Payoneer to temporarily enable their card for 24 hours so that they could pull their money out so maybe try that.

I switched to direct deposit for all Payoneer sites that offer it but for those who don't I still am stuck using their card.

I stopped using Payoneer after having too many incidents of being hacked/unauthorized activity, and having to change cards one too many times. And then, as already mentioned, YOU have to pay money out of your pocket before they'll even send you the new card. SMH. And it really sucks if all of the money you had was on that Payoneer card, and you don't have the money to order a new one (I forgot what the fee was to order a new card...$20 or $30?).

Like laurielegs said, any time a site has the option to use direct deposit, that's what I select.

As I know it could be disabled mainly for security reasons, however, you can sign into your Payoneer online account at any time to re-enabled it automatically (free of charge).

Wow, I better check my payoneer account. I don't have much in it but I think I should move on and use a safer method of payment on the sites I'm on.

I've done the research on Payoneer and it's honestly too risky to feel comfortable with. They have way too many liability clauses that make them unresponsible if any errors occur. They are a great idea but I could never let them manage my funds

    How did you do that?

My card was invalid and could not be used. I could sign into my account fine so maybe you are confused about what we are talking about here.

I've never heard of that before. In my experience, when a card is disabled due to unauthorized activity or whatever, it's deactivated immediately, and you're supposed to cut it up...and get a new card sent to you.

I just checked my Payoneer account and I have $1 stinking dollar left. They keep taking fees out. I think I'm done with them.

There's an inactivity deactivation. I think it's different than deactivation due to fraud, lost card, etc. With inactivity deactivation you can still log in. You fix it by clicking an activate link to reactivate it.

Also, for anyone planning to give up their Payoneer card, you can still use it for "Local bank" transfers on Cam4 (and possibly some other sites I'm not aware of.) It's their roundabout way of implementing "direct deposit". Bank to bank transfers count as activity to keep the card active. Of course as usual with Payoneer, there is a fee.
