I've heard it's a total body workout and good for your confidence and mood and you only need to do it for 30 minutes. They are giving a free session today and im gonna try it out. Anyone box and like the results?

I tried a kickboxing class and it was a really good workout plus it was just fun. I didn't keep up with it though because it was expensive. If there was a cheaper class I would love to do it consistently.

Yeah I've done tae Kwan do before. Lots of fun! Great workout! Expensive as hell!
Yeah, it was was quite fun! I didn't realize how out of shape I am tho lol. We had to jump rope first to warm up and it was hard. The boxing part was fun, so I signed up for a year. It's around $60 a month. I slept well the night after I did it so I think it works
If you're boxing in the ring, then you are up my alley. I love it and it's one of the hardest workouts I've ever done and I'm a mountain biker for over 20 yrs now. So yes try doing an hour and watch that body turn into steel...

I'm telling you, it really works! I know girls who do it and they are built like brickhouses. They don't diet at all and they don't have a single ounce of fat on their bodies. I've tried it a few times and it's very intense! But in a good way. It's definitely very energizing and makes you feel great afterwards. The reason I don't do it regularly is because I prefer exercising at home and by myself. But I would definitely do it if I were you!
Do it! I've done it before, but never in a ring. Amazing work out

I did Muay Thai before and it was the best shape I have ever been in. The work out is amazing and had a lot of similarities to the warm up in boxing. The reason that I stopped was because stripping and bruises don't really work well together.

I wanna try it so bad but I know I'll be bad at it and be scared I'll fuck up my implants lol

No problem, try kickboxing instead, or a martial art style called MUAY THAI which has a concentration of both. But it def. has a lower body work out.womenmuaythai.jpg
If it's a 30 minute circuit-type thing, I think you and I do the same workout. I fucking LOVE IT. I have always had trouble sticking to a workout routine because I work (camming) first thing in the morning and afterwards I get really lazy, but somehow I can always haul my ass out the door to go punch the crap out of something. Super rewarding. Mine is all women too, so when something awkward happens like you bend over and split your super-old and worn out pants, all is well.![]()
Yes, We're doing the same workout girl! It's called 30 Minute Hit. How long have you been doing it? I'm a month in and you're right this workout keeps you motivated and the 30 minutes flies by. At the end you get to punch a male dummy so I like to pretend it's my ex bf lol

I used to do kickboxing. It was fun. I want to try a regular boxing class now after your post.

I haven't tried boxing. I start with kickboxing... Back story, I've never been fat, just was soft as a late teen/early adult, and holy $&@! It whipped me into shape within 2-3 months of going 3-4 days a week. After that, I went on to May Thai which is a lot more badass (vicious elbows and knees) IMO.
Intuitively, I would definitely think that boxing would not be as much of a full body work out as these two styles... I've also heard good things about Krav Maga which is also VERY practical for your safety. It's focus is defensive tactics against opens, both armed and unarmed.

OP- it has been almost 2 months. Did you stick with the boxing, did you see a difference in your body?

Yes I'm still boxing but not as often as I should. They told me to see results fast I should be going at least 3 x per week. I've been only able to go 1 or 2 x a week but even still everytime I go in I feel invigorated after and strong. I don't really see a big difference in my body yet but recently at work a customer commented that my arms are pretty toned, so I guess that's an improvement cuz I don't think my arms were toned before and i dont remember getting comments on my arms so yeah I still love it and find it a lot of fun.
I do Muay Thai and Brazilian jiu jitsu. It's not only helped me be in physically better shape but a lot of customers think it's a turn on knowing I can kick their ass! I've even been paid to put some customers friends in arm bars lol. I always bring it up to every customer too so they know I can kick their ass if they try anything
Another customer told me my arms look toned, so boxing really is working![]()
