Looking for some info on dancing in Seattle. I will be spending a few weekends there his month and next and would like to dance while there if possible. Does anyone know of a club that will let you work same day?

The clubs here are not worth working. Plus you have to have a license and Washington clubs are non alcoholic.

I am curious about Seattle as well. I always hear it's bad, but then recently one of my girl friends told me it was "okay." What exactly makes it so bad?

There's just no money that comes in and all the clubs are super slow because the strip clubs can't sell alcohol in the state of Washington, so they all are juice bars. And they're nude.

Yeah, when I worked in Portland there were always dancers from Seattle that came down on weekends to earn more money. I thought that was crazy because Portland isn't exactly a high roller city y'know? Maybe you can do the same and travel to make money?

Our house fee is $180 plus tip out.
In my club I would say that there are 5 of us who clean up and the rest just struggle.
If you are a person whose take home is in the $300/$400 range, Portland is lower risk because many clubs have a $15 house fee--imagine that you work a shift in Seattle and make $300...you pay out $180 and tip DJ $10 and security $5....you're leaving with $105 and you can make that kind of money working at Old Navy in the mall.

You're very lucky. I mean the clubs in Seattle are not what I'm used to working in. I have always worked in real gentleman clubs and that's not that here. The girls are more gothic looking to me, everyone basically walks around with a thong and bra on, they're not classy in any way. And pretty much any girl that looked like she made money, was giving extras. After spending one day in the club here, I never went back. I have always made on average over 1000 a night at places I've worked, at the low end 700-800 a night. So for me these clubs nor Portland clubs are worth the time nor effort.
