    Default Outfits + customer treatment

We have a few threads on how much money certain outfits & colors make, but this is a bit different IMO.
Do you notice customers treating you differently, or that you attract certain types, based on your outfit?

I have been wearing a schoolgirl skirt the last few shifts. Not the whole outfit even, just the skirt with a black top and black ankle boots. I do my makeup just as stripper-y as before; heavy eyeliner & dark lipstick. I look young regardless of how much makeup I wear though, I always get dudes thinking I'm 18. I have been dancing to Rob Zombie, Korn, etc.

I make a fair amount of stage $$ off that skirt, and a couple shifts I did very little hustling; guys would beat me to asking for dances, grab me as I walked past, etc. That was great.
But... my last couple shifts, I just got AWFUL customers. Awful. Trying to lick/bite me, acting like the skirt was 'cover' and trying to sneak a hand under my thong, being borderline physically aggressive during dances (trying to force me to grind them, moving my hands towards their junk, etc.), and seriously attempting to waste my time talking (I got the impression they didn't think I knew better than to sit for too long).

Is this just shitty customers and the 'custy hive mind'? Or am I justified in thinking it might be the outfit? Is it just this particular outfit or has anyone had this happen with other things they've worn?

Hmm that's interesting. Maybe the schoolgirl look made those idiots think you were gullible and naive. Or maybe it wasn't the outfit but something wrong with them.

I notice when I wear fishnets I look more stripper like and more "slutty" lol leading to easier hustles.

I've noticed that when i wear classy lingerie guys engage me in more intellectual conversations. When I wear my super strippery outfits with lots of bling bling chains and sparkle people tend to go with the dumb blonde stereotype. People also guess me as being fifteen years younger than I am in the shiny stripper stuff as opposed to ten when I'm in lingerie. I've been doing the same makeup and hair for a long time so I know it's the outfits.

I am not a stripper but customers do treat me differently when I wear different stuff.

    For example:
*Rainbow fishnet dress and teal bra: I get tons of more shitty customers and some money.
*Black lacy robe, gold metallic mask, and black lacy thong: Makes me the most money and respectful customers.
    * Metallic gold stripper gown: I get respectful fetish guys who give me tips and give me more money. My second top selling outfit.
    * Band tee and boy shorts: I get more money but not as much as my fancy clothes.

Glad I'm not crazy! I was like "Am I giving off a vibe or something?!"

Maybe I will have to start changing clothes if I wear it and that happens... That last shift of it gave me temporary burnout...

School girl was for a long time my biggest money maker. But my experience echoes yours to a T. Guys are more handsy/mouthy, aggressive, and disrespectful. They're more apt to try and manhandle me in general. It was a great cheat code when I first started, because I didn't need to hustle at *all,* but I'm definitely more of the opinion now that the outfit is for mega hustlers/dancers who're solidly established in the industry/don't get burnt out from customer bs as easily. I need to level up way, way more in that department before I put that thing back on. Great money while I wear it, but that money doesn't come close to making up for all the shifts I skip from burn out after the fact.

Metallic dresses work really well for me. Gives off a super strong "stripper" vibe and makes hustling a breeze. It feels like it just screams "stripper," so guys actually act accordingly for once.

Otherwise, it's more niche and it's limited in where I can even wear it and how, but anything BDSM/alternative does an amazing job of getting me money and generally super respectful customers. Pay up front without prompting, even in clubs where that's not the norm, happy to tip, generally not handsy, etc. Any time a guy *does* get out of line, it's super easy to flip the script on him and boss him around/set him straight. For a long time, it and school girl were my two biggest money makers, and pretty much the only two outfits I ever wore (can we say "whiplash" in the customer department?)

That said, the whole persona that comes with it has been a little tiring to maintain recently, so I've been going more the "super fun party stripper woo" route in my outfits. I've been feeling lazy, hustle-wise and kinda-wanting a break, so having an outfit that screams "I'm a stripper I sell lapdances pay me or say no" has been pretty handy.

super interesting thread! I usually wear what is flattering to my body (usually halter bikinis or 'swimsuit' type onesies (?))

I'm going to try these fishnets I bought ages ago or my secretary outfit with glasses if i can find it (both i've never worn in my whole stripper career)
    and report back.

I wish i could do the school girl look, but I think I would look ridiculous and trying too hard to look young. Which I am sort of, but I'm more of the 'curvy blonde porn star' look and that looks ridiculous with school girl I think.

I wore it again yesterday. It was slow but I didn't have any bad customers until the end... I got some asshole who started insisting I was a 'good girl' and he could 'tell I had a mothering instinct'. I ended up walking away from him.

I'm not sure if that was just his personality (he was a very 'domineering-the-conversation-know-it-all' type) or partly the outfit, because I *was* getting similar comments the shift prior.

    Selina M,

I believe that it was your outfit and his personality. Some outfits can bring out that worst in certain men. I believe that your schoolgirl skirt was attaching more crappy customers because you look young. Maybe change your outfit to a more dark and edgier look?

It's so stupid though. I have frickin' purple hair, a nose piercing, long ass black nails, and a steer skull tramp stamp + 5 other tattoos. How much farther removed in physical appearance from 'good girl' can one get, sheesh.

Alternatively, you could always go for the hot teacher look. Both are popular fantasies.

I have always had the dark look. I will probably go back to it unless its a busy night where I need an attention grabber... Sigh.

YES. Same with hair color, hair style, tan depth, and type of perfume!
I attract a younger crowd with blonde hair, a cheaper crowd in schoolgirl, a paying crowd in lingerie (except on cams) and a condescending crowd in pink. Totally up to how people think of you, nothing about you or even your music can change that, sadly. I get a lot of people thinking I'm stuck up (even other dancers) and customers who assume I only fuck (specifically black) football players. It may also depend on whether your club is full nude or topless and the size of the city....

How does tan depth affect the way people treat you? I'm currently white as a ghost who glows in daylight, so it's something I've been thinking of getting.

You know what, I'm a seasoned dancer who wears the schoolgirl outfit a lot and I've literally never had issues with customer behavior when I'm wearing it. I was reading this whole thread like "huh?" until I got to your post. Perhaps experience is the crux of the issue? I didn't start wearing a schoolgirl outfit until about year 6.

I don't find a huge change in $$$ or how customers treat me personally based on outfits, but I do notice that if I'm wearing a 'classier" outfit I get more vips, whereas with a "fun" outfit it tends to me more lap hopping for the night. Dance average will remain basically the same though. So I'll change it up depending on what I feel like doing that particular shift.

I've been dancing for years. It's not an experience thing. Added to that that it only happens some of the time... I don't know. I'm gonna also chalk part of it up to it being July when I started it, so the club was 70% cheap assholes and 30% furniture and 'claimed' regulars... probably skewed the effects.

SuperJa, I have noticed the same thing with fun outfits vs. lingerie.

I wore glasses and a long braid for the first time and I think this can be a money maker. I wanna do it with the stockings and secretary outfit that I have (black front tie crop and grey skirt). I really wanted to try tonight but
    a) my club is so slow i'd rather stay in bed
    b) i would like to look a little more toned in the stomach for this to rock with total confidence

Thinking of trying this at the hood clubs when I go back to work sunday or so. This was at a white/spanish club.

I wanna try cat ears too. Has anyone tried them? I would rock those with big wavy victorias secret hair I think.

Anymore crazy outfit ideas? I'm kinda liking this change. I've been doing this so long, I wanna switch it up a little.

I'm positive your outfit and overall looks effects the way custies perceive and treat you..it works that way in the outside world and the stripclub doesn't exist in a vaccum so absolutely.
When I used to wear school girl I got more.."obsessive" types who absolutely loved the look and wanted to dominate my time and were creepier lol.

i've seen 2 different girls BANK at 2 different clubs with cat ears. Funny how it can be so different, i guess it depends what kind of customers are there that night?

Guys definitely treat you differently depending on the outfit. I have a really innocent and young look and a really cheery personality so I have been wearing pigtails lately and my schoolgirl outfit with thigh high stockings and guys have been responding really positively to it.
On stage I'll take off my panties but leave on the skirt and guys throw a lot of money when I show under it and even on the floor I get a lot more guys approaching me for dances or happy when I come talk to them. Older guys seem to especially love it.

I WISH i could rock that!! I think i look too old and then it would look desperate, or 'trying to look young'. I'm going back to the hood club with my glasses on for the first time tonight, let's see how it goes.
