^well technically it started as a competition at my former workplace
We had a team of cool coworkers who were all committed to getting fit/losing weight but then the annoying ass manager decides to step her nosy ass in the group and nominate herself as the team captain.
I left the group and started my own so I could lead .... and beat her monkey ass in the process
So I’d also say having some sort of deep drive/motivation helps too.
Now That bikini season is around the corner, I’m motivated to maintain the weight loss/increase muscle tone

Right, having ppl to compete against can be healthy. I also log everything in Myfitnesspal plus I drink 80 ounces of water a day. The water curbs my appetite. If I exercise for about 40 min I add 40 more ounces of water for a total of 120 ounces a day.
Yes ladies, IF does give me energy. Also high protein (salmon & lots of greens) give me additional energy. I keep carbs very low: about 90-100g a day. IF really works.

I eat a lot of carbs tbh, Im vegetarian so I have to watch I am getting enough protein - I have shakes Ill probably start using once I get my gym membership back next monthI put on a lot of weight on the medication Im on, and I could sit around and mope (the medication makes it harder to lose weight - is why my goal cals are so low) or I can track, eat well and work out. I did a few months moping now Im ready to get fit as fuck again lol

Re Intermittent fasting - agreed. It's the only way I stay fit looking. I'm miserable if I can't have a big dinner; just miserable!
Haven't quite got myself onto OMAD but be careful if you are having a few drinks in the evening and haven't eaten! That lovely energised feeling can go from pleasant to loopy very quickly!

Currently 1500. But I just lost the whole 8lbs I needed to lose & I can bump my calories up to 2,000 now. I'm on vacay at my daughter's so I might still cut calories. It's easy to gain with her: she cooks 3 huge meals a day.
I have 53 left today. I walked for 40 min.

Yeah, I want to lose 8lbs too. I was thinking to do an 1200 calorie goal, considering I am pretty sedentary. Long hours on cam with little to no activity (I don't like teasing, dancing, moving in freechat) made me gain weight, even if i am exercising. Ok, I admit that I did eat a bit too much carbs and sweets so...))





1500 is LOW. You might be able to do 1200 if you drink half your body weight in ounces of water a day too. The ladies here are intermittent fasting too, like myself, & that could really help. I eat last meal at 6-7pm then do not eat until 10-11am.
It's gonna be soooooo hard to stay below 1200. What helps me is a lot of veggies & avocado.
Have you been successful staying below 1200 before?
