Default Working at Shade in Edmonton

Hi everyone, I'm really glad to have found this forum and I appreciate the feedback and reviews I've found here.

Has anyone worked at Shade in Edmonton? The online reviews are positive and the manager I connected with seems really nice and professional.

Can anyone tell me what the minimum work hours are and how much can be earned per night?

Both managers at Shade are probably the best in the city. The full crew of staff is excellent.

You either do full weeks (6-7 shifts) or back halfs (thurs-sat/sun) on stage there, and freelancing is 3x a week minimum, 1 must be weeknight, 1 must be a weekend. Freelancing is basically always 9pm-230ish. Stage will depend on your showtimes but they don't open till 6pm most nights.

It is one of the only clubs that will let stage dancers go home after their last show, which is nice if it's a slow night. $750-1k in dance sales is not unusual there per night, although there are obviously slow shifts as well. I can't really comment on freelancing because I don't do it, but as far as dance sales as a stage dancer, I hit bonus there easily the last time I worked and most other girls did too afaik.

Hi SuperJa, Thank you so much for your response. I'm currently living in Europe but am planning on coming back to Canada in the Spring. I'll definitely make sure I come back with stage outfits and ready to hit the stage again. I make my own so it will be a creative few months. Although I'm still deciding whether or not to come back to Canada. I really appreciate your feedback though it has been very helpful. I wish you all the best and if we meet in Edmonton I owe you dinner
