    Default Dead battery

So my laptop battery will not charge.. the battery life just stays on 0% even with the charger plugged in. I don''t know if it's a hardware problem or if the battery is done for good which I doubt because I haven't even had this laptop for a year yet only months so it's in very good shape & practically still new. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. Also, I've tried different solutions from online to no avail. The only thing I haven't done is remove the batter & restart because the battery is in-built which means I would have to take apart my laptop to do so. I don't know if I should just buy another battery or should I take it to get repaired for hardware problem??

If you always have your battery plugged in when you are using it you will fry the battery.

Some batteries have a battery test button on it.

even if it's built in, you should be able to unscrew it, plug your laptop in, restart it, reinstall your battery and be aight. Could it be your laptop plug? like the actual cord? I'd try getting a new one at target or best buy and seeing if that helps.
