Default I dyed my hair now my lights don't look right.

I dyed my hair for the first time (ever in my life) and went from blonde to red. I'm attaching a picture of what my hair looks like under my hubby's professional camera lights and what it looks like under my camming lights. The color is way off under my camming lights.

I'm on a Logitech C920 and I use the streamate beta encoder.

So far I've tried adjusting the white balance, exposure, contrast, etc. and I can't quite get it right.

I'm using a lamp with 5 adjustable arms with 100-watt bulbs along with a softer light behind me.

The pic on the left is how it looks on my husband's camera and the right is me on cam.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Update:

I followed the little tutorial by Audri in this thread https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sh...Light-FOR-C920

and it helped a little but it's still way off. Is it just because I have a light background and in the pic I was on a black background?

Still playing with it and would love suggestions.

You look great with red hair, like a natural ginger. I prefer the color on the right

Looks like you need to change the temperature of the light bulbs. Incandescent bulbs usually have a warm white temp. of 2800K whereas fluorescent bulbs go the other extreme and give off cool temp. of 6000K. Sometimes mixing incandescent with fluorescent will give off a green cast because warm light is yellow and fluorescent is blue which equals green.

Photographic lights use pure white light which is 5000K. They are usually fluorescent photo bulbs or LED.

I suggest getting LED lights that fit into the same socket as your lamp. Look for pure white ones that have a temperature of 5000K and at least 800 lumens. You can use ones that have a slightly warmer temperature as well if you want a warmer tone but I wouldn't suggest less than 3000K. You can mix 3000K and 5000K LED lights as well and they won't turn green. Rear lights also need to be just slightly less bright than your front lamps but you don't need to worry about the temperature as much. In fact, it looks kind of cool with cool temperature lights in the back and warmish lights in front. A quick look at YouTube vids on lighting for film will explain light temperatures.

Aww thanks! I've wanted to be a redhead my whole life but I always chickened out because people kept telling me "do you know how much people would pay to have your natural blonde hair?" I finally said fuck it and did it.

Hyori thank you so much for that advice! I'lll definitely look into different bulbs. I really just need to break down and get a second set of pro lights.

I agree get some led lights. The daylight ones are the best I think. And the soft filler lights behind may be accenting the yellow tones in your wall paint. Cooler lights with a cooler color should fix that.
