Lightbulb My Top 5 Ways of Keeping Regulars Coming Back (Especially Thru Slow Summers)

So I was asking my booking agent the other day how I always stay busy when so many other people are slow. I'm not tooting my own horn but just want to spread some love cause I know it's hard out here. She told me a few things (I'm sure there are other things but probably trade secrets)
    1. Always upgrade. Whether it's new photos, web changes, a location change or a set of new outfits let clients know. Even if its on TER posts, in eros ads etc. Let clients know you're always moving up in the world.
    2. Once in a blue moon text memorable clients to say hello. Mention something you previously discussed so he knows he's not just a body in an assembly line.
    3. Take new photos even if a friend helps you. Experiment with different kinds of outfits, use natural light if outside an overcast day works perfectly. Add them to your Eros ad or announce new photos on TER.
    4. Make sure your space is clean, cool, and you have a cold beverage before and a warm towel after.

If anyone has any other tips feel free to share.

make sure we have at least one fully nude photo of you; men are visual, it is very hard to resist a woman you've been with before if you see her undressed. Your mind says, "well, get on with it! Go get her!" :-)

Is texting a client first a good idea? Perhaps an email but don't you think texting is a breech of personal space? With most clients being in a relationship the last thing I'd want to do is pop that bubble.

Yeah... no. You can attract clients and makes lots of $$$ without posting nudes. Bad advice.

Here's my advice on retaining clients...

    1. Be grateful.
    - Shoot a thank you note via email and let them know that you had a great time. This alone will get you repeats.

    2. Make them feel special
    - Create a excel doc and keep track of your client's likes, dislikes, his birthday...etc
It may feel like a lot of work but that alone will be bring you the big bucks. Your clients WANT to feel special, needed, desired. They're not just wallets.
They're human beings with real feelings.

    3. Appearance / Ambiance is everything
    - Please don't show up to your appointments looking like you're going to the gym. Be freshly showered and well groomed.
Clean up and get some nice flowers from the bathroom at harris teeter, light some candles, play with the lighting... make it sexy.
Create an environment he will want to visit over and over again.

I was also going to point out the bad advice for nudes but realized they were talking about keeping clients. But I agree, clients don't need nudes to want to see you. They know what you're about and have most likely already seen you naked, lol.

^^I didn't mean post it, I was thinking more of a body shot (no face) sent to them specifically. These do work... :-)

Many guys have burners they keep at work specifically for hobbying. My receptionist usually knows who comes regularly and who has a throw away. I guess when they turn their phone back on and see a message from me it keeps them from having to go looking again.

I always ask after our first session if he's open to communicating sporadically via text or email. Its the best way to get repeats.. periodic hellos, how are you's, here's a pic, good morning, etc.

Cant believe some girls are lazy with that. All that blogging, tweeting etc... never really amounts to nothing for me but personal notes always brings them back

Thank you! I'm so tired of guys coming here telling us how to run our business. It's always low rent, tacky advice.

Whoa! I haven't posted on TER in 10 years. I probably shouldn't have posted that on further thought but did so just trying to help. You yourself have thanked me for my past posts! Anyway, point taken, no personal pictures.

Doubtful it is me. I don't think men should be able to post in this section...just like they aren't allowed in camming connection. I've made that very clear many times. The advice men give is worthless and predatory to women that are just getting into this business...just like you gave the advice to include naked pics in an ad which is the stupidest advice someone could ever give.

When I worked out of a hotel, I would text/email my regular clients my schedule on Monday. Having those prebookings made me a lot more confident and it was easier to fill in last minute bookings.

When it's slow, here are a few things I would do:

    - read books or blogs on marketing, copywriting, business skills
    - read and edit my web/ad copy or create a new ad copy
    - look for new places to advertise - experiment with a new advertising platform, put ads up on free directories
    - work out, yoga class, go swimming. Getting/staying fit makes me feel more positive

Also, don't forget to save money. A nice cushion for when it's slow, then you're not freaking out when it is.

Escorting is a customer service job. Make the client feel like you really enjoyed the session and that you'd love to see him again. It's just human psychology.

Slightly off topic because I'm not saying that Bahuba's advice is along this line, but something that I've learned in sex work is that 99% of client advice (whether in fetish or escorting) can be summed up as "do more for less money." Just look at the sexworker subreddit if you want to see what I mean. Hobbyists telling new providers asking for business advice to lower their rates, do less screening, and provide riskier services and more emotional labor.

Candy, a wise woman in this business once told me a tricks job is to get you to do as much as possible for as little money as possible and our job is to empty their pockets down to bus fare without them feeling cheated. . . Boom!

    Yup, 100%

Especially online. They have never seen the business from the other side, not even for a day, yet pretend they know everything. It's usually safe to disregard client advice.

Staying in contact is a huge one. I used to think, "Oh I don't want to bother anyone or be intrusive. I'm being such a good escort by doing this."
    I was a fucking idiot.
Its good business to stay in contact with clients. Whenever I email a client to say hello, I usually get a booking from it. You have to stay on the front of these client's minds. An email every now and then doesn't hurt.

Another is creating a "holodeck experience" by upping the theatre aspect. I love do roleplay scenarios and go all out. Decorate the room, costumes, etc. Clients like to try new things, so I always suggest something we could try the next time we are together. It gives them something to fantasize about.
It's not about what you do for a living, it's about who you want to be.

I think that's such a negative view on males/customers, and to base a whole group of customers from an internet forum isn't really fair since the internet is known for such hostile negativity to the point where comment sections are routinely disabled.

I have never asked a provider to lower rates, or do more for less, but for the guys who do, they're not necessarily wrong as this is a business where they have a right to shop around to get the most for their hard earned money.

You all know what I'm talking about. You all go into department stores and try and haggle prices down with no concern for the merchant and their bottom line, but as soon as you're in the position to sell something you're offended when they don't want to pay your price?

Anyway, it's clear that males aren't welcome on this forum and since our posts are "useless" there isn't any point in even posting anymore... So much for customer service when nobody wants to listen to us and our words are "useless".

I do try to stay out of hustle threads, but in general, if the escorts are anything like the dancers, they usually want customers to *refrain* from offering hustle advice. It's not really any more complicated than that.

I don't want to start another "us vs them" discussion and nor are we completely unwelcome here -- with all due respect and professional courtesy to AubreyDabi's eye twitch (duly noted, Aubrey). It is their support site and we are guests and should respect their wishes simple as that.

If they do want direct feedback from customers (and they might from time to time), the escorts can ask here in the Other Work forum, in Customer Convo, or downstairs to blue (all are valid places). Like stated above by the other women, it is very important that good, solid, safe hustle advice is available to newbies. That reason is probably why Hustle Hut is still readable by guests and lurkers instead of locked down like Ladies Only. It's not so customers can see it but so girls just starting out have ready access to the best information as early as possible to stay safe.

Just remember we are guests here.

    1) haggling the price a product is not the same as haggling for the price of a human being . That comparison alone indicates that you view women as objects. This is the type of client that new providers need to learn to avoid.
    2) it's not that males are not welcome, it had more to do with they are offering advice where they have no experience. The purchase the service, they aren't running it so their advice would be inaccurate. To clarify, if I want to know how to make a good tasting meal, I'm not going to go to someone who likes to eat, I'll instead go to someone who has experience making good tasting food.

It really shouldn't take that in depth of an explanation, but apparently it does.
