I've noticed guys on hobby boards tend to adopt a "locker room" jock mentality when it comes to providers ....they don't have an appreciation of the vulnerabilities of sex workers. I've befriended a few men I've met through escorting but the majority of clients will always see an escort as an employee (since escorting is a customer service job.)

Back on topic.....I still email. I try not to text as text games are now a cultural joke. & I don't overextend myself for clients anymore. The successful escort treats the occupation like a business...not a lifestyle...

Most of the boards are run and owned by hobbyist and they treat the girls like cattle. In my experience they treat entertainers like inmates you have to keep in line or they will try to take over the assylum. When expressing your opinion most of the posting hobbyist will try to belittle you if you disagree with them. It is very locker room and it ruined the business. It used to be about girls with personalities and "that something special". Now it's about prerforming specific services like a trained seal.

I have never asked a provider to lower rates, or do more for less, but for the guys who do, they're not necessarily wrong as this is a business where they have a right to shop around to get the most for their hard earned money.

You all know what I'm talking about. You all go into department stores and try and haggle prices down with no concern for the merchant and their bottom line, but as soon as you're in the position to sell something you're offended when they don't want to pay your price?

Anyway, it's clear that males aren't welcome on this forum and since our posts are "useless" there isn't any point in even posting anymore... So much for customer service when nobody wants to listen to us and our words are "useless".
In all seriousness, we shouldn't have to defend our right to fellowship with one another without interference. Each client is uniquely different and I want to hear from the ladies their experiences I absolutely do not want to hear from a client what they think. I only want to hear from women, duh, that's why I'm here. And to be honest some of your advice is a bit tacky, like sending naked photos...jeesh. Regardless of the business we are in we want to conduct ourselves with some modicum of class and grace. It's just very apparent that there's a disconnect between your perception of what we should be doing and what we are willing to do. So you're welcome to lurk but unless someone says, "I wonder what guys think" let us have our space.

Tip for photo shoots: buy one or two really elegant cocktail dresses, pick something that will photograph really well and pick up your curves as dress shots don't always show case your body as well lingerie shots. I wore a gold sequin dress (think NYE dress) for a few of the photos and those ones looked GREAT.Specifically, buy dresses in stores that have a return policy (not just exchange), keep the tags and return after the shoot.

I agree with having photos in cocktail dresses & outfits that aren't lingerie, but I do NOT recommend returning the dresses to the store. EVERY outfit I've worn in photos over the years has been requested by at least one (or many) clients. IMO, you should only post photos wearing outfits you can actually wear for clients in person.

^^I agree with all of this ^^

I'd prefer for this board to be restricted to ladies ONLY.

Who haggles prices at department stores? Seriously? If there is something that I want at a department store but cannot afford, I save up or buy a cheaper alternative. Just like how if one cannot afford a provider's rates, he should see a different, lower-priced one! Lmao no wonder why you think it's okay to try to get newer providers to do everything for less.

Bumping this thread bc I need everyone so opinion:

I'm considering doing a mass photoshoot with my photographer so I can release a new set of photos every three months... what do you guys think? Ive noticed new photos don't increase traffic for very long. It starts to dwindle after two months. I still get 2, maybe three clients a day but not my regular goal of 5...

Doing a bunch of photo sets in one or two shoots is a great way to save time and effort on photos if you have a consistent look/ brand. I did this when I was doing fetish work so I could update with a different photo set every few months. This saved me so much hassle with planning, travel, and sometimes money since many semipro photographers have discounted multi set photo packages or run specials, especially around the holidays and the tail end of wedding season.

The downside to frontloading your photo sets into one or two shoots is that it can be exhausting to plan and execute, and if you decide you want to change your look or niche, it may be difficult to repurpose photo sets you haven't used yet.

Thank you! There are an array of girls on BP willing to do everything under then sun for next to nothing and yet some of these guys are wasting our time trying to haggle with a top provider ad on Eros... the logic.. NONE.
