    Dizzy Silly Newbie Questions

Hey everyone! Here is my story: I tried dancing when I was 19 and very stressed and broke. The first club I went to was kind of sketchy (dirty dive bar full nude alcohol full contact) I didn't stay there long since the manager tried grouping me with his friends and the dj was a pillhead who went through my wallet, stole my shoes, and some money (I didn't show up with a lock how stupid) To make matters worse my car broke down and I needed my mom to come get me who obviously freaked out about the stripping thing and made my life hell but at least I made $100 bucks for the 30 minutes I was there. The next club I went to was a better dive. I sold a $175 dollar vip off the bat but the guy was very handsy, tried kissing me, whipped out his dick ect. I didn't really know how to stick up for myself then so I wound up leaving feeling disgusted. The next club I tried was really nice but had a weird stage (It's pretty much ground level which I think is awkward.) I liked this club the girls are GORGEOUS though. Everyone had fake tits and was blonde and was beautiful. I honestly don't know how I got hired there (I'm pretty but I'm a brunette with like a B Cup plus I'm usually kind of thick (wide hips nice ass) I have never been a stick figure. Anyway... I walked in and my shoes snapped in half and I figured it's a sign this isn't for me and I left.

Now I'm 24, have a daughter and a supportive boyfriend. I want my daughter to have nice things. I'm sick of working 160 hours a week for like $1000 dollar pay check. I currently work at a hotel so it could explain the weird hours for stripping . I have a thicker skin now and don't think I would be as naive. All my vanilla jobs have pretty much been sales ande I think I would cut to the chase this time without sitting and getting friend zoned. I know they kind of just throw you out there but here are my questions I feel silly asking the manager:

    1) How do you ignore the dressing room girls? I know you shouldn't talk to them unless they talk to you first. They are always bitchy or negative. And the nice ones just sit around giving you bad advice complaining about not making money. I don't really want to get on anyone's bad side but I'm not looking for best friends either.
    2) Do I tell the DJ I'm there so I get on rotation?
    3) If I'm doing LD's does the DJ know so he doesn't call you on stage during it?
    4) How much should I tip everybody and when?
    5) When I leave am I supposed to tell somebody?
    6) Do you guys count your money there or when you get home?
    7) How long are shifts usually?
I want to go to this nicer club about an hour away but should I learned to hustle the dives before going there? I wouldn't want to go there and look stupid.
    9) Also if you quit to go to another club do you usually tell anyone or you just leave? Not sure if you want to come back if that would be weird or not.

I know these all sound silly but I don't want to look like a dumb ass when I get there. So any advice is appreciated. Thanks for reading

    1) Don't talk with them or make eye contact with them. If someone speaks to you, be short yet polite, and always look busy, be it on your phone, on your way out to the floor to hustle, etc. Wearing ear buds in the DR will also tune other dancers out, whether you're actually listening to them or not.

    2) Yes, simply intro yourself and tell them you are ready.

    3) This can vary. At my club, dayshift DJs will skip you. On the night shift, you have to go onstage, so get your dances before if not after your stage performance. I say try to get dances before your set so you don't lose the sale.

    4) Most clubs it's 10 percent to the dj, 10% to doorman. Ask several people at your club.

    5) It depends on how long your club expects you to work. Say your club requires you to work 6 hours. Work your six hours and leave. No need to notify anyone. The only time you should ask to leave is if you have worked all your hours but they are short on girls. Then they may want you to stay until more girls arrive.

    6) I count there, and I be discreet. Lock up your money in a locker.

    7) 5 or 6 hours at most places. Again, ask your club mgmnt.

I would read hustle Hut here on the forum and go to the nice club. Sounds like the dives near you are shitty.

    9) No need to tell anyone your business. Just leave. Girls come and go constantly so it doesn't really phase anyone.

    Hope this helps.

    10% of what you made?

I tipped 20 to 50 bucks, bartender and bouncer (or money into bail box) but those were dives

^ Varies by club. Ask the manager, don't ask the DJ, some of them will lie.
My club is a flat minimum amount and you give them more at your discretion... some of the old school DJs (10+ years in the business) *expect* 10% but nobody ever gives it to them. I have never understood why if I make $400 the DJ deserves $40 when he did the same work as if I'd made $100. I just don't get it.

I usually give the DJ $10-$20 depending on if I needed anything from them like VIP entry fees or song requests.

Yes. 10 % of what you made. Most girls realistically tip somewhere between 5-8%, since a lot of guys tip girls quietly under the table as opposed to making it rain for all to see.
