Default how do you take care of your own safety when you work for an agency?

I've never been with an agency before, but I would like to try it for convenience.

I know the drill of interviewing and checking if they screen etc, but what else can I do on my part to save my own butt?

I'm really most concerned about safety more so than LE, even though I definitely want to avoid those too of course.

Know what your boundaries are and become comfortable enforcing them. Get comfortable with saying the word "no." A respectful client will understand, but you'll have to stand your ground with a disrespectful one. I find clients, even really pushy ones, will back down if you demonstrate that you're not a doormat.

If someone shows you disrespect - if they are rude, try to push your boundaries, or are unhygienic you have the right to blacklist them. Agencies will allow you to blacklist any client you don't want to see. Yes, it means losing their business, but there are plenty of good clients out there who will treat you right. IMO no amount of money is worth your health and well-being.

A lot of agencies say they screen but really they don't. Pose as a client and see if they live up to their word.

If you've worked in the business before, I would say these days don't work for an agency get a booking agent and go semi or all the way independent. There are really no good agencies left. Either they're pimps, you have to "audition", you don't get enough calls, or thery're already under indictment and can get busted any day now. Not screening properly is like concern #4

I feel pretty comfortable with 'regular' (aka not psycho axe murderer) clients, i was thinking more along the lines of: since they screen how can I ensure my safety because they could be non screened and be the new cl murderer or something. lol i don't think i know how to get my point across.

    I was thinking of hiring a driver/security.

i had a booker (or something like that) years ago when i tried independent escorting and they pushed me to do low $$ appointments that were short notice and not screened, so that's why I basically stopped pursuing the idea of full time escorting for a while.

How do I find a good booker?

Ahh ok. Some agencies provide a driver/security but if they don't you can hire one. The real deterrent for the client is knowing that there is someone who knows where you are and is waiting for you. I always check in with a friend when meeting a new client and let them know I am sending security my "ok". But the absolute best protection is screening - the new cl psycho will most likely go to someone who doesn't screen at all.

There's always self-defense training too. I've read of accounts where self-defense has saved girls from assault. It's saved me on one (non-work related) occasion.

That's why your booker needs to be flat rate and not commission based. If your booker is commision based she'll half ass verify and try to get you to do lower rate calls just to have a high accumulated commision at the end of the week.

As far as client safety, the most horror stories I have heard from girls I know involve the agency say a regular client is coming or a properly screened new client is coming and some guy comes in robs you at knife or gun point before the phone even rings. Girls have gotten slashed and/or had everything including purse and phone taken and most times the agency will leave you in what ever city you are in. Many cities have serial escort robbers many girls just never talk about getting victimized cause they don't realize its a pattern.

    Do you already have reviews?

thanks, you are really helpful! no i am not on ter or anything, i was thinking i could avoid reviews? i heard it's not really necessary anymore.. was hoping i could do an eros ad and link to a website (which i haven't made yet) and then do email booking only..

that sounds horrible about agency screening quality
