Hello everyone!
This may sound fucking retarded....but I'm desperate.
The situation:
I have 2c curly hair. Each individual strand is quite fine, but I have a lot of follicles so my hair is very thick. I went to the stylist to get my hair bleached. It's a light brown level 5, and I wanted level 8 ash blonde. The stylist wrecked my hair because she didn't do what I asked, so I'm stuck growing out a very short bob. It looks very silly. If I had to describe it...I guess "jewfro chic" would pretty much cover it. It looks GREAT when it's long though.
The routine:
I never use heat on my hair. Ever. In addition, I'm completely fine with washing my hair once a week with very cold water. I use dry shampoo in between because it gets too dry otherwise. Bleached curly hair just eats conditioner, it's much different than straight hair.
The idea:
Alright. So this is going to be weird. I need you to remove the idea of hair extensions from your mind.
If I was able to find a hair match (2c, iii, level 5 ash brown), do you think it would be look bad to use micro amounts of super glue to add length to each individual hair? Something like this would take ~80 hours, but I'm patient and can wear updos to disguise it in the meantime. If everything matched and you could not see the glue, how do you think it would look? I have tried experiments and it does stick for years. I tried it with a small section of hair when I was eighteen.
