^^ I learnt this the hard way!

I take a glucosamine + chondroitin supplement every night for my joints, and magnesium for my muscles. I swear by the stuff-- the good quality, high dose shit is expensive, but it's been worth every penny for me.

I need this thread, too!! Any tips for staying off your knees during lapdances?

I have bad knees caused by doing floorwork... so I completely avoid floorwork now, and wear DIY knee pads under thigh-high socks just to protect them during lapdances/etc. (I cut out the tube part of another pair of socks and wear it underneath. I've also heard of a girl wearing bra inserts as knee pads under socks, lol.)

KT tape is supposed to be good, as well.

I actually do alot of floor and pole work. I never had knee injury. I take vitamins from GMC but idk how you women have it happen. Just don't slam your knees on floor and don't over do it. I don't put all my knee to the floor either though. I keep it balance

You may not always be able to avoid injury on any kind of usage on them, but when knee pain strikes, a pill may be easy to take, yet it's only a quick fix. If the pain is due to inflammation, arthritis or a minor injury, try pineapple. It strengthens tendons and ligaments in knees. Find some recipes or you can also extract it by putting it in a juicer.

Remember when doing floor work you want to be using the sides of your knees, not your kneecaps. And don't ever slam down onto them. Move slowly and gently and respect them. And if something hurts (not just new move soreness but actual pain) don't do it. There's a million things you can do on stage, you don't need to injure yourself for a few dollars.

    ^ All of the above.

When I was new I was so rough on my knees I broke skin (I'm a delicate flower). I got tired of soreness and adding CoQ10 Glucosamin pills to my already large natural supplement list so I made a point of using thighs, like really mind/body connection to thigh to take stress off knees ala squats. Since I picked up Muay Thai which stresses shin use rather than 'soft' spots like knees & feet, that also helped. Once you're disciplined enough it becomes second nature

I stocked up on my Aussie ones before I moved here, "Natures Way" brand tablets with 750mg glucosamine hydrochloride + 200mg chondroitin sulfate-shark sodium, I take two once a day plus my high dose magnesium. I'm almost out now, so I'll have to find a US brand replacement. I plan to just get whatever high dosage brand I can find on special at CVS that has both ingredients-- bonus points if it also has MSM. It took at least six months of consistent use, but now I can squat and get up again without groaning "I'm getting too old for this shit" so yaaayyyy.

I minimise floorwork on the hard stage, and in Aus lapdances I would "kneel" on his lap, so that my shins rested on his thighs in kind of an open-v, in turn keeping the weight off my knee caps (onto my shins instead) and using my thigh strength and hands on the rail behind his head to support my movement. So far in the US I've just been putting all my weight on my thigh/butt in his lap My ankles have been feeling it more lately, tho, which I need to be more mindful of.

Yeah pressing the weight into your shins and keeping the ankles flat instead of flexing your foot will help keep weight off your knees. A good holistic gel and homeopathic medicine ive used is arnica. They have it in a gel form at most places like rite aid or walmart and you can find the homepathic version at a health food store like whole foods, you take a few of the little white pills and put them in a bottle of water and shake it up and drink it. Arnica can help brusing diminish quicker and help aleviate pain.
