I been thinking about it but I don't know what type is best.
What the cost and what if that one guy pulls my hair, would it fall out?
I never done it and thank you

What is your natural hair texture? That makes a huge difference. I have baby fine hair and found clips and sew in were the best to minimize damage. I am about to do scotch tape at the end of this month.

Just thin baby hair also. Kinda short at the moment

I prefer sew-in's over anything honestly! and if you have the time and patience, you can eventually learn to sew in your own. I was lucky enough to have a girlfriend who has been doing sewins since she was 16. If you search craigslist or ask around at your club, I'm sure you'll be able to find people to do sew in's, but be sure to ask for pictures of people's they've done. Depending on your hair texture and the tightness of the braids, sew in's can last about 2-3 months, but your hair can mildew if you leave the braids in too long because of trapped moisture from washing your hair. I am white and my hair is fine but I have a thick head of hair if you get what I mean, my braids would last about 2 months max, and I'd go get them tightened about every 2-3 weeks. It would usually take me about 3-4 bundles to get my whole head done, but it depends on how thick your bundles are, all bundles are not created equally! lol
I personally am not a big fan of clip ins but they are fast and not messy. Just be sure to tease your hair at the root where you are going to clip them in at, it helps them stay longer.
If you're not allergic to latex, they have a temporary fix.. I can make my extensions last about a week with latex glue.. A lot of people don't like this method because they say it rips their hair out but if you know how to take out the glue, then it doesn't. A bottle of glue is about $5 for a 4oz bottle. When I take them out, I wash my hair and then get cheap conditioner and leave it heavy at the roots and let it sit and they will start to slide out and remove any remaining glue with a fine toothed comb but slowly. I have never had a problem with my hair ripping out or anything, it just takes patience...
As for hair, I buy my hair from different places, but if you get weave bundles you can find good quality human hair on Aliexpress.com. Be sure to check the reviews of the sellers. Lots on there usually have 3 bundles in a lot. I would pay attention to how many grams are in each bundle. For clip ins, you can find them just about anywhere, I like Foxylocks.com..
You can even make your own custom clip ins with weave bundles and buy your own clips and sew them on to the tracks. I find it is cheaper to do it this way and in the long run you can even take the clips off and get the weave sew in and then put the clips back on later if you want.
I love hair extensions lo
l And be sure to look up how to take care of them.. but Human hair is definitely the best quality you can get, some synthetic can be styled and stuff but be SUPER weary. I just ordered 2 sets from a brand I've never used before but each set was only $12 each and 140g each, so I'll end up having 280g going in my head total and it says you can use heat and I was like what the hey, it's worth a shot. I have a lot of sets of hair, it's like shoes for me. My hair for the past 2 years has been SUPER SHORT but I keep my hair waist length with extensions, and I've been religiously wearing extensions since I started dancing in 2010.
If you have anymore Q's you can message me. I love talking about hair.

If you go for a sew in, I would use google for info on what texture to get if your hair is thin. Also use google to find reputable hair dressers, and ask them what kind of extensions to get... if you decide to go that route, the person doing your hair can examine it and tell you what texture to get. This is important, as a lot of white girls tend to get damaged hair / breaking off because they get a texture that's too heavy for their hair. I've been thinking about getting a sew in (never have) and I'm mixed, so my hair is very thick but not as coarse as a black girl. My hairstylist recommended I buy Filipino hair. A lot of black girls get Brazilian which would've been too heavy for me. This is just an example. For a sew in your hair should be at least 3 inches (although I've known some wonderful braiders who could make it work with less).
Regardless, get human hair. Imo, get Remi/Remy. My hair is a decent length, about 14 or 15," but I wear remy clip ins for work. They are 18-20". I just try not to let guys pull my hair. But the clip ins I get are very good, they stay in place all night. Like I said though I have thick hair so I don't even have to tease it and the clip ins stay in place. Get these at beauty supplies, a good one will have a lady that can help you pick one to match your hair. You can easily put them in yourself and they are fast. As long as your hair is about 6 inches it should work. These are less expensive than sew ins.
There are also tape extensions which I think are a little pricier than sew ins. Then there are fusion extensions that are the most expensive. I am not interested in either of those methods so I don't know much about them.

Tape ins. Clips can damage super baby fine hair and I'm thinking the other ones might too

I feel like tape in's don't last as long as most methods though. I hated mine.

Clip ins are the best, easiest, cheapest options imo but I knew a girl w fine hair and they gave her giant bald spots , so depends

Thanks girls! At least I'm warn I might loose hair lol o.o

If you install the clip in's correctly you won't get baldspots... It's all about installation and removal. If you just clip the clip ins to your hair without teasing the roots, you're definitely going to get your hair pulled out.
I used to have clip ins and I hated them they are so annoying and tim consuming and I feel like you can tell there fake. Im about to get tape in ones this week and I'm super excited Ive heard really good things about tape ins the main thing being they are the least damaging to your real hair.

If you glue in tracks to your hair will sweating from working out or dancing make them fall out??

I have straight fine hair. I did the tape ins at a high end salon. I had no damage and had them in for 2 months. They looked great. You couldn't tell I had fake hair in.
I didn't keep up with it bc, I didn't get use to them. I couldn't put my hair up. Washing and drying was a pain it the ass. It took me forever to heat style. I have a long commute and I don't have time for that. Plus sleeping with fake hair was uncomfy. Maybe if I had a down pillow with silk covers could've helped? I have memory foam pillows. Silk pillow covers are recommended. I just haven't found any.
I also started getting scalp injections, so don't think I can have extensions installed at the moment. Don't want to risk it.
I'd like to try some good clip ins. Gotta find a store.

Yeah I've been looking for good clip ins. A new girl at the club got very nice extensions (for ~$1200) and she banks, and she also got hired at the best club in town even though she's new. She's already cute, but I think her new butt-length hair also helped. So I am definitely looking into extensions myself. I want thicker, longer hair when I need it.
However idk what the budget should be for some decent clip ins. $160?

160 is a good budget for extensions.. Just keep in mind, depending on the length of your hair without extensions, if you opt for super long ones, if you have shorter hair or a blunt hair cut they won't blend in as well, so if you have super short hair youll need more tracks to help it blend and also maybe point cutted ends on the hair or a layered hair cut and cut the extensions as well to blend with your hair. And if you get longer hair, pay attention to how many grams the extensions are. I usually will buy tracks about 2 inches longer than i want my hair to be and because I end up trimming them and stuff to make them look more natural.

Tape in extensions worked great for me! I have straight hair that I'm trying to grow out, and tape in doesn't damage my hair and it's great waking up and having it installed (rather than clip ins)

Ok I ordered clip in hair extensions. They're hella long, like 22" and cost $250. They should come this Friday. Hopefully they pay for themselves.
I was going to grow my hair out, but it's like if I can get longer hair and make more $$$ now, why wait? That's a lot of potential money lost. Plus, if I take care of these babies they can last me couple years and by then I'll already have waist/butt length hair and the extensions will merely be a plus.
I just hope I don't hate extensions lmao

They will pay for themselves, trust me, even with just the extra confidence you get. Where did you end up ordering from? I've gotten the kylie ones from bellami and I thought i would like the "sealed" band (instead of the regular sewn band they were "sealed" almost like a quarter inch of tape) but they were less flexible and sometimes didn't lay flat to my head. They stayed nice and soft for a long time but Ive worn them at least 3x a week washing them once a month and I've had them for about 4 months now and I washed them tonight and should buy a new set of clip ins by the end of the month. I think I'm going to order from myfantasyhair.com as someone else suggested.
Does anyone sleep in their clip ins? I thought about getting microbeads so that I have long hair all the time, I just love the look of long hair, but unless I arrange my clip ins to be put in a pony tail (so put them on my head in a circle) they hurt my head when I'm sleeping.

Man I spent FOREVER researching what are good brands for clip ins, whether the Sally's one and the cheap ebay ones are worth the risk, how Bellami is just marketed by bloggers while their actual product is crap (from the reviews I read), so I settled with My Fantasy Hair. I have yet to try it, of course.
I forgot where I read the review or what brand, but I read one where someone used the same clip ins for 8 years because she took good care of them. So I am hoping I could do the same if I invest in a good one.
If you're using it just for the club, you might not need super passable ones, especially if you have dark hair. But if you're using it outside the club yeah you might need good ones.
**also during my research, I heard something about microwaving your hair extension with conditioner in it. has anyone tried it?
