The Beaver Show by Jacqueline Francis (jacqthestripper)
Definitely what ^^^ said. The Beaver Show by Jacqueline Francis is hilarious and insightful. An easy read that you won't want to put down.
I don't mean to be off topic but how relevant is the players club to the stripping game?!?

Look like Player's Club is fiction, so maybe as relvant as Showgirls? Don't quote me on that, I know that WOC experience is very different that white girls. And I believe that Player's Club wsd written by a man. All the non-fic I mention above was written by white women. I'd love to get my hands on a non-fic written by a Woman of Color.

Stripped rubbed me the wrong way. It wasn't bad, but it was a little off-putting. It was written by an ex-bouncer for a vegas club back in the day. The way he puffed himself up and painted/fed into the glamour of the industry, and the way he seemed to brag about being able to feel up the girls at will for bouncing guys who tried the same/how he could sleep with any of them if he wanted, but he's such a good, married guy, he just didn't want to... but he *totally* could if he wanted too... it left a bitter taste in my mouth. It definitely felt like an over the top fish story a guy tells his buddies after they all get stupid drunk. I'm sure the bulk of the content was accurate for his experience, but the way he portrayed everything...
Definitely felt like something a customer would write. Also the strippers were kind of portrayed as whiny and pouty and childish at best, and stereotypical dumb sluts at worst. The first half of the book is the guy's experience, the second half is basically the same thing, but a fictionalized version.

Strip City was good. I wanted to write a book before or a screenplay, I def. would need a ghost writer or someone to help me because I am a shitty writer.
