I've never done any pole dancing, are the clubs expecting you to have a routine when you audition?

It depends. Some want you do dance around the pole a little, others just need to see you in an outfit to check your body, and others just hire you on the spot. I see you're in Texas though I don't know where, but in Dallas I know the Lodge wants you do dance for your audition, and places like the Spearmint Rhino just need to see you in an outfit. XTC and Clubhouse tend to hire on the spot.

All really depends, use YouTube to get an ideal how to move your body. Pole tricks are usually optional but you can try pole class too

It depends on the club, but there are several girls like myself, that have danced for years while knowing only a couple of basix moves.
I don't think clubs expect you to have a routine, but watching the other girls a few weeks ahead of auditioning or even taking a pole dancing class would be a good start.
