I am in my 20s and I'm going gray!!!! I first started at 22, which I guess is better than my mother who started at 16. We have great skin in my family but the hair color not so much. There are too many pure white hairs to even pluck out at this point, my head looks like it belongs on a middle aged woman at the roots!!
It's natural color is that "white girl light mousy brown" hair, so I've been bleaching it myself to a nice warm blondish color and lighter colors suit me. But for long term optimum color, should I continue w the blond (which I'll have to do myself, I'm not going to a salon that often) or get a Sally's light brown box color ..haha, maybe I should do dyed gray streaks that are so popular now so ppl will think it's in purpose! Or just light bond streaks to mask it..?
Anybody else been through this? I heard there a pill out now that stops white hairs but idk if it's available to the public. It just feels disturbing to have more white hairs than my 40 year old husband.
