    Default Effective SEO for website?

    Hi Girls,

We have a huge clientele base coming mainly from reviews boards and the usual advertising websites. We're regarded as one of the top agencies in Vancouver but we are not ranking very high on google in keyword searches. Currently we show up on the 2nd or 3rd page and I've noticed many other agencies that are not as established as us, some even not even operating, ranking higher??

Im not an SEO expert and I'd like to find someone to help do the appropriate work to help us with it. Many local companies I've contacted don't want to be affiliated with the industry, or do not have the proper knowledge to help us as its a bit different than doing SEO for a vanilla company. Majority of people don't want to be linked or affiliated with this stuff unless they are also in the business.

I've searched Adult SEO companies specifically escorting SEO companies and there are some decent looking ones but I don't trust them ( I called one and it was a google number lol). Any suggestions or experience with these companies?

    Thanks!!

    Alisha

SEO is a bottomless pit when it comes to how much money you can throw down it vs. actual rewards that you reap.
Have you considered managing it yourself? You will often find that it is far easier to chip away at SEO over a 12 month plan of a couple of hours per week rather than hitting it hard by paying someone. If you employ someone it is going to be an ongoing cost that really racks up over time with no gaurantees. Google is constantly moving, so it requires work each week/month to keep up to date, however this is achievable with no budget which I personally think is awesome considering how much adult advertising alone can hack into your profits. You're already doing well managing on review boards so it's not too far of a jump to incorporate this into your weekly management timeframe.
Just a suggestion, hopefully it helps

Basically with SEO the best way to rank for adult related content is by having a blog on your website.

Good example of that would the male escort agency cowboys4angels. they went from a template website to popular in the media and regular blog content.

I have some information training on SEO I would be happy to share if your interested in learning it yourself.

This helps. Blogging is a lot of work. I do it for my non-adult business for SEO. It's tedious and I highly recommend hiring it out if at all possible.
When you call people for quotes .... wait until after to tell them it's adult. Many will increase the price just for adult . It may take a few tries to find a good fit.
