    Default The "Maybe" customers...

    Hi Ladies

Just got a quick question I've been pondering lately....Depending on your hustle style, what do you normally do/say if a customer's reply is "maybe" about one of your shows? And do you get many guys who say this? My hustle style is basically a brief chat, some light flirting without giving too much away, including any free sex chat but after that I try to entice them into a show, and their response is "maybe". It's annoying and had one guy say this to me last night. He then went on to give me some BS about "not wanting to sound too keen" . I told him bluntly this wasn't a dating site, and then he left. I thought he was a freeloader so decided to block his ass if he ever came back.

Anyway, 5/10 minutes later, he did come back and I blocked him. But then I looked at my messages and he wrote "pvt?" so he must have decided on a show. I wasn't too fussed because I still thought he could have still been a freeloader. But then this got me wondering, what do others do in this situation?

I try to see every guy as a potential customer, until they prove me otherwise, but it's these"maybe" types that get me really confused lol.

Depending on my mood, I either ignore them or just kick them right away.

They only say "maybe" to hold your attention a little longer. They have no intention of spending money.

I'm not super heavy with the ban button. I don't care if guys park and hang out in my room. Often, they actually turn into paying customers. I do ban the ones that are major asshats or trolls but it really doesn't happen that often. I don't even do SM free chat..just guest chat that goes into paid chat. On IM I do do free chat which has turned into a good way for revenue stream. It's funny how both sites are different.
I don't get a lot of maybe's....my major pet peeve are the "BRB" guys. UGH! Spare me your BRB. I can verify that is a solid NO! Some of my true blue regs will mean it when they have to reload their credits and I know they mean it but 95% of the BRBs are full of shit. That's my pet peeve!

For the "Maybe" guys I just tell them to let me know when they're ready to play and then I ignore them. I've found they usually say maybe as an excuse to sit in my free chat and get attention longer. They get 0 attention until they go to paid chat.

I tell them join now for this price cause next time it will be higher. Surprisingly how many join at the higher price when I keep my word about making it more expensive.

Cause if I'm not what they want at that moment, I will suggest that they find a lovely lady on the site that will be more to their liking & price point. They use that word to get you to do what they want for free or less money. They are using it to bargain with you, I NEVER bargain down or to go off site, met up in real life.

He has you engaged & totally focused oh him, he is getting exactly what he wants for no money at all.

I try to convert them into a sale, if they push back & want more than what I'm offering. I simply move onto the next person. I don't dwell on what could have been or might be.

Maybe = NO. I look at it this way, if you ask men 'would you like a blowjob?', what do you think they'll say? 'MAYBE'. Said NO men ever!

When they say maybe, I just ban right away because that tells me that they want to play games and I don't have the time nor energy for that shit.
Same goes for people in general, if I ask you 'do you want to do lunch?' and you say maybe, expect me to say to you, 'just say no, don't come'.

I agree with what was said. When i get the maybe guys they are always the ones who will play that tactic to get you to give them something free in hopes that you will fall for it, it is always followed by one of the following in my experience with.. what would you do to me for me etc trying to get some dirty talk hoping you engage in it. They never pay that ive seen, so when i see that like others here i just ignore..if they want you they would go into pvt i dont waste time after a maybe engaging with them.

    Maybe means no.
This is also in life when a girl wants to get married.

I tell them that when that 'maybe' turns into a yes, they can come back in my room I don't have time to play games. If you have been starring at me and haven't decided if you want to spend money or not, a boot up the ass should suffice. Go play the maybe game with some other willing host. I'm not the one. My thoughts are well, maybeeee you shouldn't be in my chat room. How's that for maybes?

Makes me howl when they want you to beg them it's so bloody funny I just say bye too! I learned a long time ago they are in or out. Polite chat with time wasters if I'm bored I might make and has occasionally turned into something but if there's paying custies they can get lost!

Sometimes maybe means maybe? If it's not followed by a "convince me" generally I just say okay, just let me know, then keep chatting about whatever the fuck I was chatting about when he came in. Not every guy just wants to jump into a paid show, sometimes they want to get a feel for you and your room, so I tend to not be quick to block.

Maybe is just a polite way of saying NO without actually saying NO. Who wants to hear NO. Anyway Its also like the BRB guys.....99,9% of them never come back...there is that 1% who actually does. Anway. Both those words piss me off. I don't ban unless they keep coming in my room to stare and they've played before and ask if they want to play they will say "Perhaps" that's just as bad as maybe and it tells me its a no.....irritating as fuck. I wish those wishy washy words didn't exist in the English speaking language.

I've had maybe guys buy shows. So I don't ban them outright. I either kick them while yawning, or turn my cam up to the ceiling. Cuz maybe he's into popcorn ceilings. Or maybe he's got a thing for light fixtures? Or maybe he'll sit there and stare at my pillows while i wander off? That's how I play the maybe game. He's not getting my attention for free.

I feel like in the real world and cam it's the same. Maybe = No. Silence = actual maybe / yes. Hell I say "Maybe" when I really mean "no" just to not be rude sometimes

I've converted a few by asking "Tell me how to turn that maybe into a yes?" but my thing is, if you're in my room, on a xrated porn site, you're ready! There is no 'maybe they aren't ready' they're ready to stroke, they're just not ready to come off that cheese.

Same. On the rare occasions I entertain free chat I do not make any attempt at hustling. I know the guys who want to spend on me will either do so anyway, or will decide to after seeing my appearance/ hearing me speak. If they attempt to engage me in discussion about what goes on in a paid show beyond specific requests (have you got x,y,z toy/outfit/do you do anal etc) then I know they're after free titilation and I ignore them or direct them to my profile. I basically never give them an opportunity to fuck around with if's and maybe's. I'm sure my approach is pretty different to those who work primarily tip based or free chat sites though, so keep that in mind x

I had an indie client tell me this two nights ago. This guy had not spent any money in over five months.

Our conversation history was basically him hinting at free dirty chat, pictures, and trying to get me to change into a new outfit of his choosing. The last show was five minutes.

"Maybe" guys are cheap; they want your attention for free.

I told him this. "Why did you message me if you're not sure if you are in the mood for a show?" Of course he felt defensive, and provided me with an excuse. I frankly informed him that messaging me again will result in a permanent block. I let him know that he had a long history of messaging me without buying shows (6 months since last show, 5 conversation initiations without buying), and that it was unacceptable to waste my time like that. Be polite but firm. I also make a point of telling them that I prefer to be straightforward; I don't enjoy making them guess what they did wrong.

    1. Put them on the defensive.
    2. Tell them what they did wrong. Give exact stats and numbers so they cannot talk back.
    3. "If you do x, it will result in y." Ex: if you message me without buying a show, I will block you.
    4. Explain to them that it's a positive. You're honest, straightforward, insertgoodqualityhere, and don't want to waste their time if they are looking for something else.
    5. Let them know you enjoyed past experience, and look forward to seeing them soon.
    6. End on positive note, have a nice day.

I've had pretty good results with this. About 25% of them seem to want to be forced into buying a show, I guess. The other 75% never planned on spending anyway. I think it makes them believe you are a finite resource and you have implemented the scarcity effect. They might not see you again! Who knows with this guys.

I don't mean to bash. The vast majority of my guys are wonderful, and I'm very grateful to them. These guys are about 1% of my clients and I don't like them because relationships need to be give and take somehow. If they are not interesting in giving, I will not let them take. Most guys understand this and are complete gentlemen about it.

I like to think about free chat the same way as people who go in to purchase clothing.

Some people are there because they are bored and are using window shopping as entertainment, some people are their because they have a specific purchase in mind and other people might be motivated to buy something if they found something they really like.

I treat all 'maybe' people the same way that the people in clothing stores treat me. I will ask them if there is anything I can specifically help them with and if they are 'just browsing' then I ignore them until they either as a question or they are 'at the cash' register to purchase something.

personally i haven't yet got maybe guys but have had some "yes" guys that don't actually ever buy a show and keep trying to get off in free chat i just block/ban them lol.

most of the brb guys are timewasters but a few of them are legit so i wouldn't kick or ban anyone purely for that. The worst timewasters for me personally are the guys that ask u to change outfit or put something on or find something to put on. Like unless they are a previous customer of mine I will make them tip me everytime I gotta do that. Most of them leave @ that point proving vast majority are timewasters.

some maybe guys may be just browsing looking for a girl to do a show with later. it has happened to me. Still I give them shit about it because I think it's rude to just say 'Maybe' and so many are in a 'convince me' mood. so I usually say something like 'ohhhhh Maybe? just mayyyyyybe? so you're not sure if you're horny or not?? how's that? maybe what you want is pizza, you should go order some pizza MAYBE!' timewasters et offended and leave, guys who are honestly just waiting for a chance later will laugh and say why they're waiting/just checking stuff out. then I tell them to either favorite me and come back later when they're free, or just do it right now ad sometimes they just do!
