    Question Shoe help(existing shoes)

    Hey..
So I'm thinking of auditioning, I already have my Pleasers, blk patent 5" ankle strap shoes
I've been wearing around the house trying to get used to (I wear flip flops a lot lol) & they've fairly comfy..but my toes keep 'scrunching up'
I don't think they're too big (got a size up) but I normally do that w/high heels
When I sit w/them on, I can kinda relax my toes, but when I stand/walk my toes scrunch up again.

Try those gel insoles that go under the ball of your foot, it may be slipping; that used to happen to me because my feet are "skinny"/bony

Try another style. What style is the shoe? Is the name on the box so we can google or do you have a pic to show what you're describing and what the shoe looks like?

I used the basic style and had no problems. Only problems came was after the shoes became worn like after 3-6 months. I'd either have to tape my toes to prevent corns forming or just buy new pairs of shoes.

Why'd you get corns tho? They stretch out? Idk, I wear an 8, maybe shoulda got that size, but being it has the heel it does, I figured go up the next size

Yeah over time the cushion and the upper wears out so every step my pinky toe skin would rub against the upper material and the friction caused corns. I would just get another pair by that time or if I was on a tight budget I wrap my toes in moleskin padding.

*yeah that style is what I'd consider the basic style. I wear those too and never had problem with toe scrunching. Not sure why it would do that unless maybe you need a narrow width? Or maybe you got a defective pair and the uppers were too loose? Hmmm?

Ooh!^ That sounds painful, AF! My mom had her share of foot probs..
What do you think about the style tho? I kinda liked the slip ons, but was afraid I'd fall over in 'em. My foot tends to slip a bit in civilian slip ons

I used to dance in the exact pair you posted 6 inch black, they were so comfy and secure and last too. I had clear non strap too and they would always break.

To me the basic styles are the most comfortable. I wear "slip on" style too and never had a problem. The two strap slip on seem more comfortable and secure to me. And I never had problem with the plastic uppers tearing unless they had been worn past 6 months. They do get dirty easily so constantly cleaning the plastic is a must.

You, know, thinking about it now, I think they could be too big.

I just used baby wipes after or before every use lol. I'm not sure if there is a specific shoe cleaner for plastic or anything but baby wipes worked for me. I saw some girls using straight alcohol but I didn't want to use anything harsh that would degrade the plastic and cause it to tear.

I usually go down a half size (I normally wear a 6 1/2 so i buy 6s in stripper shoes) because the patent leather or whatever will stretch out over time, I think the tighter my shoes are the more control I have with them when walking and pole dancing honestly, so I use moleskin that you can cut to put on places where blistering or rubbing might occur until they stretch out and I also feel like the higher the heel, the less of an incline in the shoes. I wear 7 to 8 inchers and my feet hurt a lot less after a shift than when I was wearing 5 inches. It sounds weird but I swear there is less of an incline in the shoe because the platform evens it out. They are definitely super comfy and not that hard to walk in.

I always would buy the extreme 802 or the adore 701. Right now I have the 802s.
