Hi all-
I have just discovered clubs in the last month. I go to one near me maybe once a week (sometimes twice), I know I need to cut back to twice a month. Been reading a lot of topics here and I learned a lot, but I have an unusual question. Of course I have a favorite dancer at my club, and a couple right behind her. The first couple times I came in she would sit and chat for awhile (10-15 minutes) and we would do a number of dance sessions in the night. But the last couple times she stops says hello and then 'find me when your ready to play'. Now she s one of the few girls that actually work the room and she is pretty popular, I tend to go to the club early before it gets crazy and you are fighting for dances. One time I saw her sit with a guy for close to 45minutes and she got nothing out of it while I was spending on other girls. I will not approach a girl sitting with someone else (even though other guys do it to me, even when I am getting a couch dance). Her dances are still great, how do I get back the attention she used to give me. Should I just flat out and say 'let's sit and have a drink before we get the dances started'. I don't mind paying for her time. The other dancers have started doing the same thing, a quick hello and 'make sure you see me before you leave'. Sorry for the long drawn out post, is this a common thing, once they know you are good for a few dances they stop trying?
