Default Any moms working day shift with school age children?

Hey ladies, just wanted to get some feedback on working days at clubs with school age children[s] at home. I haven't started dancing here in dallas yet but I'm pretty sure I will be asked to work a few dayshifts to learn the ropes and whatnot. So to prepare for this I figure I could work 2 or 3 dayshifts max. However, I already work night shifts with my vanilla job 4 days a week. I have 3 small kids at home with one not being school age yet. I want to know the best way to figure out a decent schedule since I would have to be around to get my kids to and from school. And to also have someone watch my smaller child.

I noticed a few clubs I plan on trying out at don't open until 11p.m or later which is fine. Some open around 5pm or 7pm and some open at noon. Should I automatically ex out the clubs who open earlier in favor for the clubs that open late? I would really be limiting my options if i did that and those clubs I hear have much higher house fees which i'm a bit nervous about paying as a new dancer in this area. If I were to work at a club with actual day shifts available would it be worth it to pay for daycare just to work those shifts? Seeing as it's days and the money could be slow. Would it be realistic to think I could just land only working night shifts from the start?

Since i'm new to this area i'm not sure how they do things here but in va you almost always start on days then work your way to night shifts. Even if you come in on a nightshift as a new girl the veteran dancers sort of push you out of making money as they have a lot of reg's already. I'm worried about this happening here in texas and not being able to cover my house fees since fees here are much higher than va. Va on a Saturday night is like 20 dollar house fee where as here in texas i see some places are like 250! I don't want to be stuck not being able to pay that.

Anyway i'm starting to ramble here sorry about that I just have a few concerns before i dive into the clubs. I'm probably really overthinking things but I just wanna have all my bases covered before i start working. I'm planning on hitting a few spots very soon as my body goals are coming along nicely. Just waiting on my insurance to come thru to get some contacts and then i'll be on my way hopefully to making alot of money. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated

250 house fee?? I'm in Dallas and I've tried a lot of clubs but none with a house fee that high.

The clubs that open late aren't necessarily better. Usually it's the urban clubs that open really late like vlive. Clubs with an early dayshift can be way better like the lodge and Babydolls. I'm not sure about Babydolls dayshift since I worked nights but I've heard it's really good and I've been meaning to try it. The lodge there is no house fee if you're there and ready by noon I think. And if you're there and ready by 11am & work the whole shift they give you like $40 and free lunch. Dayshift goes until 7 but if you need to pick kids up I'm sure a club will work with you if you're professional and work consistently. Babydolls requires somewhat of a schedule though and the lodge doesn't.

The first cowboys game is this Sunday so I think clubs will really start to pick up. I think you could work a couple dayshifts during the week and make a good amount while your youngest is in daycare or with a sitter.

Oh & Dallas clubs generally let you work whenever as long as you're hired. i haven't been to a club that's made me work up to nightshift. There will be regulars at every club but you can still make money.

    Good luck!

I agree with 22lligm. Later clubs aren't always better. Dallas clubs are really lax with their scheduling, you'll get hired on and can work whenever. You may be asked to work a slow shift (normally Sunday or Monday), but RARELY is it mandatory.

Ok so on Instagram one of the clubs in dallas posted there house fees for the week. Fri-Sunday is where the fees were extremely high and that just had me shaking in my boots lmao. I believe Friday was 100 or 150 and Saturday was 250!!! Holy shit balls how can you pay that and still make money. I just assumed that was the norm for all the clubs in this area so I have been over here recalculating life lol. Good to know the fees aren't that high tho and thank you ladies for responding. If I can find that i.g post I will put it here so you ladies can take a look.

And I'm with you on trying out babydolls, I just followed them on i.g yesterday and I hear a lot of good things about them moneywise. Initially I assumed I wouldn't be there type since most the girls on there page look Spanish or mixed race. But after following there page they followed me back and someone from there sent a dm asking me to take pics for them. A bit weird but it gave me hope that could I possibly work there. So they are now on my list of clubs to try.

That's weird they DMed you. I wouldn't go by Instagram in picking a club. And that super high house fee is really weird maybe it's vlive..? The lodge at night only goes up to 60 and that's if you are ready after 10pm. I feel like that's the highest or its around there at most of the clubs. Babydolls & Mens could go up a little higher maybe to 80 I don't remember though. 250 is ridiculous lol.

Also Babydolls has all races. A lot of white girls, mixed, black, Asian, everything lol. Like I said don't go by Instagram. You'll probably be fine though you should try the lodge & Babydolls first.
