The price for any given spot is dependent on your score, so you might see $2 to take spot 10, but the person occupying that spot currently whose name you see next to that price might be paying $0.03/click because their score is better than yours.
It is my understanding that the age range you see in your campaign is based on your own age and that the Phrendly formula default sort is not a set age range, rather it's dynamic dependent on your age - you can see your phrendly formula sort age range in "score breakdown". It won't be the same for everyone and obviously the age ranges overlap. There are other settings that have a higher impact whether you show up in default sort or not (such as call price, relationship speed and more - if you change anything like that from the default, you're not in phrendly formula sort anymore).
RE what ep2002 said about why guys decide not to write:
Everyone receives q-clicks from guys who never write, it's par for the course. Guys click profiles to check for new pics beyond your profile pics, too, no intention to write you. Most people who star you won't have any sips to spend, hence why starring back results in nothing most of the time. I don't know what you mean by "obviously he has the money"?
Again it is my understanding: that you don't have to click a profile to star a profile, and without a guy having initiated a chat you don't know the name of the person making a qualified click on your profile, therefore you can't know that qualified guys are clicking AND starring you and then choosing not to write to you. All you know is there was an anonymous q-click. Without a chat being initiated which would reveal the name in your "Clicks" tab, you don't know which if any of the guys who star you are actually qualified people with a credit card on file, let alone with available sips (credit card on file doesn't mean the guy necessarily have sips available to spend, I think). There is nothing to say that the q-clicks you receive and the stars you receive are from the same people.
Sorry if I misunderstood the points you guys were making.
