    Thumbs up Legwarmer help!

I just started dancing fully nude and I understand how hard floorwork can be on your knees. I've seen many girls where legwarmers that cover their knees. I ordered a pair of leg avenue, but they annoyingly don't stay up. Someone please suggest or link a brand or what not that you recommend. Than you so much inadvance.

I am not sure I would do that. I understand other girls do but IMO it would detract from your overall aesthetic by covering half of your legs up. I would think it best to just do less floor work.

I wear thigh-high socks and get compliments on them all the time. Depending on the socks, they can make you look sexier.

It's HARD to find good ones that stay up, for sure... the best ones I've found were these:

American Apparel makes some thigh-high socks, too, which look promising:

Wig tape should help hold them in place. If you find yourself out of wig tape and need something strong in a hurry - carpet tape.

I've found some good leg warmers off of etsy (it gets coooold around here, in winter you see lots of leg warmers and shrugs etc) and they have stayed up well. I've always bought ones that seem to be aimed at dancers in cold studios so they're made to not slide around.

If you wear thigh high stockings underneath it helps them "stick" better. Or if you wear thigh high boots you can also put a lot more knee protection underneath without it showing. If you get ones made for ballerinas they are usually good quality and meant to stay put.

Boot cuffs over the knees! It makes for a very dominatrix look if you wear all black and find black boot cuffs. One of my coworkers wear them. She pulls them down around her ankles when she's off stage and when on stage, she does a move where she's laying on her back and pulls them up to her knees.

Have you considered something from dbleudazzled? I've never ordered from her personally, but she became famous on Instagram and Tumblr with her sparkly thigh highs and lingerie:

She has some gorgeous pieces although they are pricy. I will probably order sometime in the future.

I've ordered from this shop on etsy: https://www.etsy.com/shop/BikinisParadise

Less expensive but still super sparkly. I'm reluctant to spend too much on thigh highs regardless of how gorgeous they are just because all it takes is a run or two and suddenly they look trashy

Ooh, thanks for sharing! You're right about that! Also, the idea of spending close to $100 on socks is hard for me to swallow. Part of the reason I've been putting off my purchase for so long - lol.

Tbh I think we've all worked clubs where you look at the stage and go... hmm. No floor work I guess.

Honestly I agree with that post- ask most customers whether they'd rather see more skin or more floor moves and it's a no brainer which one they're going to pick. Having "moves" gives you something to do up there but for the most part has nothing to do with how much money you're going to make, so why repeatedly injure your knees etc for free?
