Default When you can't understand what he's saying

This is a question for girls who offer phone with cam or PSO.

I have a consistent problem where, if I can't see the guy's lips moving, I have trouble puzzling out what he's saying, especially with American regional accents that don't get into enough Hollywood movies for the rest of us to get used to them. It's kind of embarrassing for me to keep asking them to repeat themselves, and is really holding back my phone hustle.

What's a sexy way to say, "I'm sorry, I have no idea what you just moaned at me"?

I usually respond with something like "Oh yes!" Or "I like that!" I have never had a guy call me out on it.

I have a reg with a terrible lisp who loves phone sex. It took months for me to finally understand most everything that came out of his mouth. thankfully he would repeat things if I asked, though at this point I normally get what he's saying. I guess my point is practice makes perfect, so those american movies you hate so terribly are going to be your friend in this case. or maybe talk radio or audiobooks are more up your alley. It's easier to understand things when you're used to the sound of it. If it's a huge issue, perhaps try marketing yourself on UK based sites instead.

I dread this happening...I also find it easier when I can see the guy talking to me. I find mumbling more of a problem than their accent...not holding the phone close enough to their mouth (my ex used to do that a lot) or trying to talk quietly or a bad signal on their phone.

I sask as nicely as I can for them to say it again because most of my calls are fetish rather than dirty talk that I can just reply "mmm..." too. I had one guy phone me who normally cams with me but just types, and I had to apologise and say that I couldn't follow anything he said...he didn't seem to take offence and may have been used to it!

I wasn't saying I hate American movies, but that some accents aren't represented in movies and TV as widely. Say, when The Wire first hit, I had to watch it with subtitles, but by the end it was fine. Ditto CSI NY - at first, no clue, but after a couple of seasons, no problem. But not every location gets a show made about it :-/

Local talk radio is actually a great idea - that's how I got used to some of the more interesting UK accents, after all. (Though Glaswegian still stumps me, tbh.)

I understand. I lived in the southern US for a while and they're of course famous for their drawl (which varies regionally even within the south, but that's another story). As a result, I used to get super pissed when I watched "swamp people" because I understood them perfectly, but for some reason they have subtitles on that show. It took me watching it with a friend from cali to understand that most people do not in fact understand 90% of what comes out of certain cast member's mouths. Their drawl is extra thick and their accent varies even from a "typical" southern drawl, which makes it difficult to understand if you haven't been around it some.

I have this problem with phone on sm alot. If the guy has an accent or whatever I will sometimes ask them to repeat it, but often just keep on talking about whatever until he sounds more excited or I hear something I can get.

I will just moan and talk dirty to try to divert their attention to me so they dont say much.If they call me out or start to get upset i will say what was that the phone is breaking up and go back to what i was doing and keep going until they are through with the call. haha
