Default getting back online after car accident

I was in a pretty bad accident about a month ago and now that I'm feeling better physically I NEED to start working again, problem is my motivation after not working for so long is shot. I think I have become a little depressed from not making any money and not leaving my house I just feel "blah" all the time like leaving my house even to go to the store is a lot of effort. I know I need to just snap out of it but for some reason I just can't. Anyone else have to restart after taking a hiatus? What did you do to make the transition easier?

I'm glad you are feeling better.
I would slowly ease and 'trick" yourself back into it by trying it for one hour, if it's bad you can always log off. Before you know it, you are now working 3, 4+ hours without even realizing it. YOU CAN DO IT!!!

If you can, take a day or two that's just dedicated to getting ready. Give your cam room a good cleaning, and maybe rearrange a few things to give it a fresh feeling (even if it's just behind the scenes for yourself). Give yourself a little spa treatment - oil treatment for your hair, facial, mani, pedi, body scrub, any hair removal you need to do, etc. It's a lot of work, so take a nice bath or have a reward for yourself at the end. Go to bed and get a good night's sleep. Then start tricking yourself into it the next day. I always recommend allowing yourself to start slow, but with everything all shiny clean and pretty, you'll probably feel awesome about working more than you planned.

Hey gorgeous, I'm so sorry to hear abput your accident I was wondering where you'd gone. I hope you heal fast.

And welp, you already know where I stand on the motivation. One day at a time, and with persistence. You're the only one who has the control in how your checks look. If you work small hours, that check is going to reflect that. If you work a lot, it'll be bigger. Gotta get to that point where hustling us a necessity. That you made a promise to do XYZ online, and you do it even if you couldn't be fucked, or switch out days to be lazy on.

If you need $1800 a week for ex, 2 ways of getting it and a few days off are working until you hit $300, 6x that week with one day off, or $360, 5x that week, with 2 days off. You can do it!

You start, get the momentum, and before long it'll be 2nd nature and the checks will be rolling back in no time. But you can't start, and then give up. Bills and life come every month so you gotta make sure you got your back financially.

We all selfsabotage in many ways, but if we can meet our fear of failure or success head on, we can conquer anything. You can do this.

I had a broken shoulder and took about 3 months off.. I just quit wearing panties because my arm still hurt.. don't know what to ease into.. it's hard for me to understand a lot of people because I am survivor.. that's how I have had to live my entire life.. no one has spoon fed me anything.. I am Spartan.. just get in there and do it!... I feel depressed all the time.. you just log on.. if you feel sad, log out go do something.. log back on.. it's like a piece of wood you keep whittling away at until you feel better again.. then you are back on track again..

I wrote down every hour in a booklet, marking down any pay missed. Seeing this in addition to watching other cam sites and browsing helps push that motivation.
Looking back on some other model posts from other threads helped as a small reminder to work. Just don't think about it, set everything up to broadcast and press start.
Hope you feel better soon and everything heals quickly, like others said take some time to rest.

"Things you should know In my opinion, you should broadcast 2 hours at the bare minimum. Ideally, more like 3 hours. 4 hours is good.
I'd suggest streaming no less than 20-30 minutes per session." -advice someone suggested in another forum

Thank you ladies, I decided to take couple more days for myself and this weekend I am spending with my family @ Six Flags and will begin work again on Monday. I have an easy schedule set up for myself and I am going to ease myself back into it.
