Mind Blowing Best cam to film clips!

Was wondering what is the best cam or what you guys use to film clips? Haven't started yet, I do have a webcam but not sure if I should invest in something else.

You should. And you don't have to go expensive until you really want to. I started with a $400 Panasonic handheld camcorder (HD, camera light is a huge help so choose one with a light. You don't need wlan, but a computer with a cardreader helps) and a Sandisk extreme or ultra card (around $15 for 64GB and that should last a long time, I tried other cards and none were as good).

There are HD camcorders for $250 as well. It's your choice. I can recommend Panasonic, as I still use that first camcorder today and I also bought a semi professional camcorder from them and am very happy with both cameras.

They film in .mts (media transport stream) format, so be aware of that when you think about editing software.

I have changed many cams during this past 6 years im in this business. I had sony, panasonic, canon. So I have my opinion. I would not recommend panasonic camcorder, bad colors. I had 2 of them and I have seen youtubers with panasonic camcorders same thing bad coloration. Sony has a weird white balance but it is ok. But when sometimes I see my old vids they were all nice and sharp, just my skin tone was not what i liked. canon was ok, but stopped working.
I do like panasonic lumix cameras do a job for me. I had gh3,g7,gh4,g8.

this camera has a lense already in, even has filters if you have to take pics or vids outside.

Yes. And I go with the reasonably-priced camcorder suggestions.

I use a Canon Vixia and it's doing me well - I'm not good with videos or tech at all. So it's a bit of a learning curve with things like lighting, sounds etc.

AND it's a good idea to get a mic. Don't count on the camcorder's mic to give you decent sound (especially if your talk is important for your videos).
