Ever since I started in sex work almost a decade ago, I didn't want to ever work in an office again. The exception was always Pornhub (or rather, its parent company), which happens to be based in the city I now live. I'm applying for one of their social media/marketing positions and also have an employee reference. I'm very qualified and have everything they're looking for, except I don't know what to call myself on my resume. I'm quite open about the fact that I'm an online dominatrix and figured that since it's a porn company, they won't mind that I'm a sex worker (which means I should be able to call myself whatever I feel comfortable with?)...but my husband said that maybe it's better if I don't call myself that. He told me I should use "Niteflirt Provider," which is nowhere near all of what I do. I'd like to highlight the fact that I'm a boss at entrepreneurial marketing and know how to get and keep quality targeted Twitter followers as well as having a high rate of engagement, and calling myself a Niteflirt provider would be doing myself a disservice.
Should I just take the plunge and call myself an Independent Online Dominatrix like I was thinking of, or is that crazy? Do you have any suggestions/opinions?
