Link to news article that popped up in Google alerts
Over 300 million AdultFriendFinder accounts have been exposed in...

I feel like this isn't real, I'm not on there anymore. But it's been like a month since the leak...I think they didn't find anyone worthy to expose?
Well when the PlayStation hack happened it was ages before any data was leaked as they have to go through reams of data looking to see what can be sold. Its not just a get data and then splash it all over the place sort of thing. From the girls perspective gov id is held by them. Cloned drivers licences etc as cam companys are not printing our details out they will be held in a database with a huge file design with the images in.
Oh right.That's scary!
Thank you for posting.

Completely off topic, but I wish you had a blog Selenasecret. You're so knowledgeable (especially on the tech front) and manage to explain things in a way most of us can actually follow, which I sincerely appreciate. I bet you'd have a pretty solid following rather quickly.
Lol it comes from having a boring husband who lives and beathes this stuff.
Literally when I see a girl with an issue I phone him for answers that he damn well had better provide lol
As for the hack. I let the bank know my details may have been leaked and the dvla. Drivier licence agency in the UK and passport office.
You could end up with a speeding ticket in your name and all sorts with the type of id we have to provide.
Just cover yourself as noone wants to find out someone managed to get a £10,000 loan out in your name as they had the id to do so

Yea, it can take a long while after attacks before all the details/consequences come out so it's better to be safe than sorry about changing your info.
"In September, forum data for 800,000 Brazzers.com porn users came to light in an attack dated to 2012."-from the above article
If anything the models should have been alerted first. No evidence can mean dont know. As its too much data to check every record.
Just protect yourselves and be safe xx.
I guess lucky for me, I haven't even be able to get into my cams.com account for a couple years now. I have been trying to close it but they won't let me do that because they say that I have the wrong password and since I also can't change the password since their email verification doesn't work I can't log into it either. (*laughs*)
But in all seriousness, if you are a camgirl....
DO NOT EVER USE THE SAME PASSWORD FOR ANY CAMSITE THAT YOU ARE USING FOR ANY EMAIL ACCOUNT! EVER!
Heck, do not use your email password to log into any site on the internet that you are using in general. Doing so will just end up in heart-ache and pain sooner or later. Getting access to your email password is like one of the lowest hanging fruits in hacking.

From what I've gathered I thought they only hacked the members areas? Either way, better safe than sorry.
Believe In Your Brand
Well would we really think that it wasnt just one massive database since companies use sap mysql sybase mssql firebird. or that all the databases are not on servers that front line support are on? If say the same customer service guys dealt with both customers and models they would have access to both sets of data. Its not a small company and the last 10yrs back when I had a vanilla job most companys save money by having all there database tables in one location.
Please it might be a pain to do but please just update your accounts and make your bank aware etc. Just be safe and protected.
Dont suppose they have emails in there do they lol. Might have a script that will email them one at a time using some vba and Gmail ;-) 300 excel docs worth of data. The fun we could have.
Yep, they have emails. I was curious and wanted to just check through to see if my email was listed.
I didn't keep the data after I was done checking it though. One does not want that sort of stuff to be found on their hard drive on the off chance that their computer gets seized. (Well, at least in my country. I have no idea what it is like in other countries.)![]()
Lol I was just thinking how we could create a "I am online come and pay to email" vba email system![]()
Oh, I totally got that. You'll just have to excuse my paranoia, by default I reject even joking about doing anything with any data that comes from a hack.
One of these days we will have to get together and I'll explain the whole strange and sorted story to why over coffee. Although I would hazard to guess if you pass on my recent responses to your husband he would probably raise one eyebrow, start chuckling and then explain it all.![]()
