I think they did post thread about that. I'll see if I can find it.
But yeah I'd prob sh*t myself if I had one mill of hard earned money taken. Like full meltdown.
“Cook for him like a housewife, fuck him good like a nympho….pay the rent and the car note, he invests in me like crypto”

Is it a video game?

No, Pokey.
I remember hearing about this story, though
MANY MEN WANTED TO LAY ME DOWN, BUT FEW WANTED TO LIFT ME UP
-Eartha Kitt

This happened years ago. She was lucky
Did they give her money back. I mean, carry more than 40k is illegal, but a fine should do it. No way to confiscate all her hard earn money.
I like being alone, I just don't like being lonely.
^ I didn't know that was illegal? I mean if it's your own money, you should be able to carry all of it if you want to. I mean some of these rappers throw that kind of money in the strip club. Is what they are doing illegal? Good for her, the nerve of these cops dude..

Oh totally Ariebriel. Definetely can't have more than 10 going through border patrol. I think the most ive ever had on me at one time in my life was just under 15. Certainely was a hell of a lot safer in my possession than it was in the banks. Wells Fargo took me for 2.3 grand while I was down. They Left a checking acct open I was assured was closed with a 0 balance and kept charging my savings acct overdraft fees on a netflix charge i forgot to cancel.
I guess I withdraw my statement, the dancer probably had the right idea, minus of coarse entrusting the money with anyone but herself![]()

Britney Spears meltdown would look weak if this happened. I just saw video and this is not an overnight success, but over a decades' worth of work. She was making 70k per year at least, but still that's a lot of work.
This actually put my life in perspective. She's over there hustling her butt off, and I am making crap money lol. Time is indeed the most important thing there is.

A friend of mine got pulled over while traveling for a BA with thousands of dollars with her. Unfortunately, the cop stole the money from her. I hear of cops doing this quite a lot. Honestly, I hate cops. They think they are gods or something and can get away with anything.

Wells Fargo is a shit show of a bank for sure.
Where Am I? Missing NYC

Oh, don't even get me started on them. They tried to steal close to a grand from me, but I fought over it for months until they finally gave my $$ back just so I would leave them alone. I was not even a little surprised to hear about their most recent scandal. They are criminals.

It sucks, but a lot of police departments seem to abuse the asset forfeiture laws to try and take money form honest people. When they pull you over, they will try to claim that your money is from an illegal source and they will seize it. Then you will have to spend years fighting them in court to try and get it back. They know most people don't have the time and resources to do that, which means they get to keep the money and add it to their budgets.

Ha, this reminds me, I worked @ this one bar, a guy told me that he got pulled over, & the cop just started randomly searching his car..didn't find anything, but he had some dog treats, & the cop grabbed those!

I know this is true coming into Canada as well. You can have as much currency as you want but anything over $10,000 has to be declared to CBSA and they will make you fill in a form for FINTRAC, the agency that monitors banking transactions. It also helps to have paper work showing where the money came from so nobody tries to claim that it is proceeds of crime.
