    Default Perfumes for different moods

Hi, Just wondered if you had a favorite perfume to wear depending on your mood, whether you're working or even time of day?

My absolute favorite perfume is the original Agent Provocateur (it's a spicy, sexy and strong, almost cinnamon scent) , but it only comes out at night or when I'm on a date. I bought the fatale and fatale extreme versions and they arrived today which inspired this thread as I have perfume wafting everywhere!

On an average day I wear Thierry Mugler - Alien which is sweet but not as sweet as Angel. Sometimes a vanilla scent from the body shop which is VERY vanilla-ey but gets compliments.

I look at Fragrantica before I buy a perfume online as it's a bit hard to buy "nose blind".

Post your fave perfumes and when you wear them please

My winter scent is Sun Moon Stars By Karl Lagerfeld. Found two bottles at Tjmaxx during the summer time. Just popped my bottle open last week. Its woodsy, spicey, powdery. You have to go light on the spritz because it can get overwhelming. Its hard to find too.

Another spicy one is Ginger Essence by Origins LOVE THIS STUFF. Its liter than Sun Moon Stars

Anything with a strong Amber note is always good. So Alien is good for that. My throwback celebrity scent will always and forever be Miami Glow by JLo. Some of the Taylor Swift scents aren't bad either.

Shalimar Light by Guerlain was a nice reboot

I LOVE Sun Moon Stars! I was clearing out my spare room last weekend and came upon a boxed, brand new bottle of it. Was super happy thanks for reminding me I had it.
Regarding celebrity scents, britney spears ones aren't bad. Britney Spears Curious In Control is a dupe of Viktor & Rolf BonBon. Extremely sweet though so I have to be in the mood for it. And it's another discontinued fragrance But you can still buy it online.

    Off to google Ginger Essence.

Something I always get a kick out of is wearing oils that you can find in Black Beauty Supply stores. Now matter what city you're in they all have them right at the register. My faves are Pink Sugar smells like cotton candy and Egyptian Musk, a delicate but spicy scent. I've gone to some very upscale events and got complimented over and over about how good I smelled. "Is that Dolce and Gabbana?" NOPE "Tom Ford?" NOPE its Pink Sugar $1.99 and I got a some lipgloss and big hooped earings all under $10

Well, I used to go to a lady's house, & buy all kinds of mini fragrances, but now the internet.
I am a perfume sample jumkie, I've sooo many!
Lately, and on/off I get allergies..but yes I love fragrances.
Rn I combine the scent I like in its deodorant form - I like Lavanilla brand, the summer fragrance, no other name, & it's not avail now, (cause of it being summer frag) except on Amazon, it has an orange cap.
Then I have Pink Sugar fragrance spray, both of these are all natural, I don't like to use the stuff w/aluminium chlorhydrate of w/ev.

For winter I love this shit I got at Aeropostale called "bayla". People tell me it smells like fresh pine needles and Xmas but i love the refreshing smell. I have to order it online cause I think aero stores closed down near me.
Or anything vanilla or gingerbread. I read older men love vanilla and men n general love "baked goods scents" haha.

For summer I looove Clinique happy heart, reminds me of being 17 again when that was my signature. Very fresh, youthful, floral smell w like a citrus note?

My current favs are "pulse" by Beyoncé but it's very subtle..maybe a little too subtle. It's not a typical perfumey old lady scent, Idk how to describe it. But I wish it was stronger cause it would be my everyday signature right now,
And I love rue 21 perfumes cause they smell amazing, made in France, 10 bucks a pop. "Etc" is a simple straight up strawberry scent and "revert eco" is also just my favorite.

I really wanna try alien now!

Banana Republic used to have a nice clean sent W for Women? So light and pretty. Their Classic scent was nice too. I haven't been inside one of those stores in years.

I love Victoria's Secret Halo. It's my all time fave scent. & Sensuous by Estee Lauder is a great winter time perfume.

I also love Eternity for women but it doesn't smell right on me anymore.

I have a daily sensual scent, a work scent, and a clean scent based on how I want to feel.

I used to have a huge collection but left them all at my mums when I moved. now all I have is the body shop coconut and VS Bombshell. I mostly wear samples I get sent by Sephora a lot. Im also thinking of treating myself to Jo Malone Mimosa and Cardamon for winter. I been reading a lot about perfumes lately and thinking of rebuilding my collection my 3 old faves are all discontinued. D&G Sicily, Hugo Boss intense and this Gucci http://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/G...arfum-684.html. I mostly wear body sprays from bath and bodyworks here a lot when its hot.

I just looked up Jo Malone Mimosa...Warm Ethereal Mesmerizing...I'm sold and Ive never smelled it. I'm a musk girl. They smell the best on me. In summer I go for clean scents airy scents. I can't pull off florals.

I just got a bottle of Kim Kardashian which smells like Michael Kors. I actually used to wear it at the club with bath& bodyworks coconut and used to get so many compliments. Im about to try some indie brands on Etsy too that do Jo Malone dupes and have good reviews.
Im also wearing a few samples I got from work( I work at a department store) I have Vince Camuto and Versace Crystal Noir are the ones I like and thinking of getting.

I usually don't buy perfumes. What I do is get a body lotion mix it with cupolins, and then get a body oil and put that ontop. I might get a body spray, but I haven't done that in a while. I get compliments sometimes, but I follow the Satanic Witch rules... it's my go to guide for beauty *I'm not Satanic, but I am kind of 'witchy'*.

Atelier Cologne has a fantastic set of samples of all of their fragrances for like 30$. I carry around a tin of like 6 samples with me just in case i am in the mood for something different. Since they are colognes rather than perfumes they are a bit stronger so you use less. My favorites are Rose Anonyme, Ambre Nue, Orange Sanguine, Sud Magnolia, and Tobacco Suit

I love different perfumes/body sprays. I love Victoria Secret "Temptation" and "Pure seduction" body oils.. VS "Angel Gold", "J'Adore", "Black opium" are my working perfums.

I love Alien so much. I saw the ad campaign with the LED dress and I was sold on the brand right then! I also love Death and Decay from Lush. When I'm feeling saucy I'll go for Sikkim Girls, and Lust if I'm feeling predatory
