You know- I used to get a lot of colds and sinus infections but haven't and I did a lot of lymphatic drainage stuff. Makes sense.

You know, the more I read your posts- the more I see you think like me. Very empathetic, loving animals, holistic medicine and metaphysics. I will tell you what I did and the hell to everyone else! I used to have a Puerto Rican boyfriend and he ate so much pork (I actually do not eat pork or ham but his family would be weird about it so I gave in, and sometimes on rare occasion I like a little bacon). I would get abscesses on the inside of my thigh, near my groin that were about 1/2- 3/4 an inch across. I went to the Doctor and they told me it was my lymph nodes. Obviously I quit the pork but thought it weird I would get such an adverse reaction that the toxins were coming out on my skin.

I got very interested in the lymphatic system. When I tell you I had sinus and tonsil problems, I am going back to maybe 5 or 6 years old. I remember eating ice cream once and immediately having a reaction where it felt like I had pins in my throat. I had very bad allergies and asthma for years and years. I was on steroids and inhalers and a lot of allergy meds.

Now that I am old enough to make my own health decisions I have learned that I should not eat dairy (from cows) or gluten (Wheat was not genetically modified a decade ago and that is why gluten sensitivity and celiac rates have gone up so much). Diet change alleviated all of these symptoms and got me off the meds.

I mention these things because any infection. adverse reaction, allergen or environmental toxin can aggravate your lymphatic system and cause it to produce more white blood cells. It is important to get all of the systems in balance. With respect specifically to the lymphatic system- there are massages you can get to drain it and also vibration plates, white and green tea, a lot of water, good posture, yoga and pilates, beets, cranberries, cherries and root veggies are all great. This is also anti-carcinogenic. I know some of this was in the article you posted. I was just adding my personal experience.

Ok, thanks a lot! That's so cute (our similarites)..yes, I take it very easy on the dairy, due to some tum probs I was having & saw a Dr for. I do some yoga, I like teas, water..
I'm going to get a manual body massager (it's intended for cellulite but it says it helps the lymp system too)

Meat is often really bad for you because it's just littered with antibiotics and toxins, and think about what cheap processed crap they feed the animals in the first place. The remains of that all goes in to your body when you eat meat. I mean if you're eating organic meat that's one thing, but even then there's not even very good regulation for meat so they can often say all natural grass fed when that animal was abused and only fed grass one time in its entire life. A lot of lying and misleading going on, that's why I just do not eat meat at all.

I have not eaten meat and almost 10 years and my skin has never looked better. I feel like your skin definitely shows if there's a lot of bad things going on inside your body. Are used to have really bad skin as a teenager because I had to eat what my mom fed me which was mostly process stuff and meat. But when I was old enough I was able to purchase what I wanted to eat and my skin became one of the things I get complimented on the most because it is so clear and even. It also made my psoriasis worse every single time I ate meat, and now it's under control and most people do not even know I have it. So definitely be careful with meat consumption.

Velv. Rabbit- I actually do not LIKE meat at all. I was completely vegetarian for over a decade (I'm in my early 30's so that's a good chunk of my life) it's the texture that freaks me out. It's kind of weird to me that my Dad's sister and my nephew are the same way. What I left out about the pork abscesses was I could pop them like a white head and puss would come out.

The lymphatic system is easily imbalanced but can be fixed easily with holistic remedies.

I got mine in balance with detox. Clean diet, teas and the massages. They did a lymphatic drain massage and then put these Michelin man things on my legs. They were big tubes with a vacuum to pull the crap out. The treatments were like 80.00 each and I did 4.

You don't have lymphoma. Don't conjure it with negative thoughts.

I have a whitehead pimple like that & it's making me crazy. But I have to keep eating meat because of certain health issues that are better managed with meat.

I'm really excited about treating my lymphatic system better. I've been ignoring it & I feel bad about that.

    .
Put a little scrub on it, then dab some alcohol, then put a bit of mud mask, just on it. You can take a hot washcloth, wring it out, & gently apply.
    Don't pop it tho.
