If anything I hate about forums is that cannot be my usual sarcastic self, and it annoys me to keep writing /s or j/k so if in the future you misunderstand then try again

Montreal the prices are so cheap. England the same. Oz and NZ I see are lower than the USA for the most part.
I just prefer stuff to be illegal and I'll take a calculated risk so my profits are higher.
Look at the weed business now.
Yeah I don't really get making the buying illegal but the selling legal. A slick way to make you think it's legal while also trying to drive escorts out of business if dudes scared to buy. Which I believe is how Canada is set up.
So if you're against legalizing what are you're thoughts on decriminalizing?
“Cook for him like a housewife, fuck him good like a nympho….pay the rent and the car note, he invests in me like crypto”
I saw it as a humorous s joke but you know sometimes when people say their joking .... deep down they're really not.
That's what I hate about forum/text too. Unless you know the person well it's hard to read things like humor, sarcasm, etc.
Plus when I went back to re read what she said I think she was referring to the rules the gov would make not necessarily the taxes
“Cook for him like a housewife, fuck him good like a nympho….pay the rent and the car note, he invests in me like crypto”

By keeping prostitution illegal, Uncle Sam does own or at least have some control over women's vaginas, by telling them they can't use them to make money, and if anyone does, they will be thrown in jail. Technically, it's state and local governments that do this, but the results are the same. There should be some limitations, such as not allowing children to do it, and not allowing unprotected sex, but consenting adults should be allowed to have sex for any reason they want to.

Yeah like this: https://youtu.be/V1AwHV02YH4

If we could legalize prostitution and be mature about it as the British, Dutch and Australians do, I'd be all for legalization. The Germans, they have managed to really make legal prostitution very exploitative. I'm on the fence on this one.

I think most people who frequent this forum are going to have a similar opinion on sex work. That said, I also believe that prostitution should be decriminalized simply for the safety of sex workers.
Prostitution in America is extremely dangerous. Since at least the 1950s when people became mobile from the automobile an untold number of prostituties are missing or their remains have been found years later. In terms of serial killers from 1975 to 1995 107 men have killed over 700 people and good number of those people killed were prostituties. That figure is just from the people who have been caught. And according to the FBI and an old x cop that I know at least 40-50 serial killers are trolling the United States at any given moment which is why you keep having random killings like Karina Vetrano or Vanessa Marcotte murders.
I don't know why but America is home to some very aggressive, sadistic, misogynistic males. These males then prey on prostituties to rape, torture, and kill just for their own sick pleasure and/or to make underground snuff porn. Sick f*** get away with it because there are no legal buildings or zones where American sex workers can work safely like in Amsterdam.
In Amsterdam sex workers work in red light districts, they can rent rooms solely for the purpose of sex work that have panic buttons, and they can go to the police if need be. Then over in Belgium they have built a new red light district that actually has the police station right in the middle of it along with a maze of hallways and back doors that connect sex workers so they can all stay connected and warn each other of bad customers.
Unfortunately in the United States nobody cares about sex workers (not even the police) until thier own daughter or son becomes one.

^i read because sex work is illegal, prostitutes are actually more likely to be beaten, raped, robbed, etc by law enforcement than customers. But we also face a lot of that with our customers as well, with no legal recourse

He he...now Bobblehead, we aren't supposed to be mean to them like that. But he did kinda walk right into it with that post.
Zeke, watch that shit. We don't tolerate insulting escorts, dancers, webcam models, or adult industry workers here.

Yes, of course prostitution should be legalized. Porn is legal, so why is prostitution illegal? Makes no sense.
Sex is legal and making money is legal. But yet, when you combine these 2 legal things, it becomes illegal. It's asinine. It's the only thing that's legal when it's free, yet illegal when it's sold.
"Dancing tables, making deals with devils like a drunk beauty queen"
And some of those porn girls make up to $2,500 for a single sex scene - https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2016/01/20/...gets-paid.html

For a "traditional" sex scene between a man and a woman, the average actress' compensation is typically between $800 and $1,000,At this rate the gender paygap will be even, it really did plummet for women... To think Jenna Jameson made tens of millions and she did only porn and owned a club jenna. In general, males average $500-$600 per scene or day.
That said it had nothing to do with legalization, but technology: cam sites and tube sites killed the DVD and porn superstars.

It would be beneficial to the casual provider who just needs a little more money to get by. It would be beneficial to the customer who would have a wider selection of quality providers, more convenient to them. It might reduce the number of sketchy drugged up street-level providers by making it easier for customers to find better ones, but maybe not.
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.
Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.
