    Default small claims court

    Has anyone ever taken someone to small claims, specifically a landlord? If so please pm me. Please pretty please

    I'll respond here, I took my old boss to small claims court as the amount owed was under a certain amount so was still eligible.

    As for a landlord, never had to. But it's all a similar process, but very dependent on tenant/landlord laws state by state.

    I have but like Persian it wasn't a landlord, sued an old cam site that ripped me off. it was a huge hassle but I got back every dime owed as well as all the costs involved in pursuing the claim.

    I don't know where you are, but some jurisdictions have a separate tribunal that just handles landlord-tenant disputes. Double check your local law to make sure that Small Claims Court is the correct venue for the type of claim you want to bring.
