You just need to take this task on like you would take on studying for an exam in school. Read, learn and invest on your look. If a shot of liquid courage helps to loosen you up at first, nothing wrong with that. When I started dancing, I wouldn't make much money. I felt ugly. But I started getting regulars and I got my boob job as soon as I could. After the boob job, money kept rolling in consistently. Then I invested in a nose job and lips and trust me all of these enhancements have been very much worth it. Along with a visit to the dermatologist.

Don't do it. Get help. You will regret ending your life. Life is supposed to be challenging, that is how we grow. Ride this out and seek help, please.

I agree with the other comments, you need to go to your local ER and get them to place you somewhere you can get help. It's hard to succeed at anything, especially stripping, when you're this severely depressed and suicidal. Perhaps you can try it again once you're feeling better or find something else that works for you. Good luck.

I work in a very white wash city. Most of the dancers are white but the few black girls that work the clubs do well from what I see. One even wins most of the competitions she does. I can't say how it is for your area, I also have no idea what racial discrimination feels like so I'm not going to pretend I know how you feel when it comes to that. I do go through fazes of serious depression and anxiety due to the pressures this job has. So I work in different cities or just take a break. I've only been dancing a year and I didn't start to make money until I committed myself. Like 5 to 6 days a week when just selling lapdances. When doing stage 7 to 14 days one day off just to travel. The girls making big money are strong women, they shake off the worst shit and turn it into fuel for their hustle. It will kill your hustle to worry about how well the other girls are doing. You really just have to leave your shit at the door and be the party girl, or seductress or whatever persona works for you. But this isn't an easy job, people who get into this business thinking that get a real kick in the pants quick. Self care is important. Do things that make you feel good on your days off. Thats all i can think of for this right now.
