When your knee joints literally stop working & they have to drag you offstage with that cane they use at The Apollo Theater.
J/k.
Retire when it's not fun anymore. Retire when you look at a bar full of people & don't know whether to laugh or cry. (As told to me by a wise female bartender.)

Fucking EXACTLY. There is no age limit in this industry. I HATE it when people tell you what you SHOULD do, that includes telling you when to stop. You do what you want to do, how long and at whatever age. There are 21 year olds in this business who are a hot mess, drunk every night, sucking penis for $12- ok maybe that is when someone SHOULD stop. And then there are 50 year olds, tight body, healthy lifestyle, meditates, does yoga, invests her money.....THERE IS NO AGE LIMIT
preach. There are two girls at my club who are in their early-mid 50's and bank. They both have BBL's and some other work and look quite good, their hustle is strong and they make 1000's a week. Granted, at that age, you have to work a particular look and hustle. A sexy real housewives type, they can't work a cutesy schoolgirl look or alt-goth fetish look. But, it can be done.
It just depends on the person. If dancing just totally drains your soul and you have a dream occupation you want to launch, then that would be the thing to do. We only live once and dancing is really only financialy rewarding, so just something to think about

If they keep saying yes... why stop?
This is a tricky question. It all depends. Does she still look good at 50+? Is she still making money? Do guys buy dances from her because she is hot, or has she become a joke? I'm 43 years old and I don't want to dance past 45. For one thing, my body hurts, and for another thing, I have a dream job I'm persuing. I often get told that I look like I'm in my late twenties or early thirties. If a woman looks her age or older than her age, she might have a difficult time in the club. I know of a dancer who was over fifty, maybe even 60. And she was sort of the club joke, and I felt bad for her. She made money, but I would hate to be in a situation where some guy bought his friend a dance with me as a joke.

When her looks and energy levels go downhill. Otherwise, keep dancing!
"Dancing tables, making deals with devils like a drunk beauty queen"

IMO there is no age,
when you are unable to earn the money that you are happy with is when you should retire,
if somebody is happy dancing into their 50's making $50 a shift then all the power to them

What all of the others are saying...when she starts feeling tired, unmotivated, and not into it anymore. Or when she lets herself go physically and is no longer appealing to customers. I have known dancers in their 20s who are out of shape, burnt out, and need to hang up their heels. And right now I work with dancers who are pushing 50 and look smoking hot and show no signs of slowing down. In the world of dancing, age is really just a number! Its what you make of it that matters.

I just gotta ask.. what dumbass voted for 25? Before 25, I still had SO much to learn. I look back and laugh at my 20-23 year old stripper self. No, $500 isn't a great night. No, you shouldn't be asked to give a refund for not sucking ol dude's dick. Yes, your manager IS in fact trying to fuck you, not just being friendly.... Lol the list goes on. Seriously. If stripclubs only had girls 24 and under, what an interesting and naive place it would be... I was the worst baby stripper now that I sit and think about it lol.

So much yes in this post.
I remember at my first club I ever worked out they would make you give refunds ALL the time because the customer was not "satisfied" with his "service" aka it was a freaking brothel and I should of known better and RAN out when it happened the first time and I saw all the white handprints on the couches in VIP. (Barf)
I'm a fountain of blood in the shape of a girl.

On one stripper group that I'm a member of, one person stated that if you're still dancing past 35, you must be a "financial failure" who made bad decisions with your money. Failure in training here then.

Is that difficult to think that a 44 year old woman like me can strip jjst because of fun?

LMFAO LAAAAWD IM OVER HERE DYIING!! YOU PLAY WAAY TOOO MUCH

Well, shit. I guess I missed the memo. Looks like I'll have to tell all those customers that pick me over much younger women that I'm a failure and clearly too old now and a financial failure despite all that money they keep giving me. "Sorry, guys, too old! I've expired! Past my date! You have to dance with those younger girls who don't look as good and can't have an entertaining conversation! I'm just too, too old now!"
Haha, yeah, fuck that. I made great money last night and didn't even have to work that hard while other girls were whining in the back that they weren't making any money.
I've always noticed the girls that make the best money are 30s to mid 30s and up.
I wanna know who voted for 40! I'll be 40 in October, and I'm not showing any signs of slowing down! This is a pro photo, so of course its retouched, but not very much

^^Hot!!! You look fantastic.
I want to post my photo of me at 42...but trying to keep a low profile.
Thank you so much for saying this, I have grown tired of the stigma that you should stop at a certain age. I have taken long breaks but I love stripping. Taking care of your body is the key factor.
I believe in networking and strong sister hood please give me a follow on twitter. I do follow back.

They are just projecting. I survived abuse, got therapy, and except the stigma of sex work I’m a pretty good well adjusted person. Stripping allowed me the time to recover from the effects of family dysfunction. The world is a better place because I’m here. At the end of my life I know I’ve helped myself and helped others. People judge me, but I know who I am and the hell I went through to survive.

It's funny-when I started dancing at age 22, I thought 30 was old and that I'd be out of the adult industry by that age. But now I'm 38 and although I don't dance anymore, I still cam and take nude photos. I think I look better at 38 than I did at 22, and I definitely have a lot more smarts and life experience.![]()
