    Default Stretch Marks

How might one get rid of stretch marks? Let's say hypothetically on one's butt or maybe a few on under one's arms close to one's boobs and maybe on one's tummy. Has anyone tried anything that heals them? I've heard that nothing really works. I was just wondering.

Sun tan. I believe sun tanning will even out skin tone making stretch marks less visible. Technically coco butter and oils help prevent stretch marks but once they're there, they're just there ----- unless you surgically remove the skin but I wouldn't recommend that unless that's what you really want to do.

But I never see stretch marks on your pics so it could be something that you're noticing but I doubt other people would notice.

Plus ya know me I'm all for women flaunting your body as it is. In some cultures Stretch marks and sagging breast are seen as beautiful like you're a woman (vs a young girl) + you've experienced life. Most women over say 25 have them.

Vitamin E oil, rose hip oil, cocoa oil will all help the healing. I used Palmers scar serum oil. It's the redness of fresh stretch marks that is the most noticeable part of them. This redness fades over time. Alternatively, you can get a steroid cream to reduce the redness. You might also want to try dermal rollers, microdermabrasion, laser therapy and chemical peels for something more serious.

Im about to let you in on a miracle ive tested on stretch marks...
    DermaRoller.
Yes, its a trend right now, and yes it works. From home. I have 2, one for my face, and one with deeper needles for my hips (I HAD very bad stretch marks on them).
I used it about once every 2 weeks (it recommends more, but it healed in about that time frame for me), and within about 2 months, they where almost invisible, and the skin was smooth and tight.
I had some scarring on my arm from an accident, deep wounds from years ago, and it is almost invisible now as well. I thought it would be a fad but I gave it a try, bought the roller (for $6 on Ebay 2MM) it came surgically sterile in its own holder and I started.
I do recommend numbing cream. It feels like a shallow tattoo. Its about 500-1000 TINYTINY needles on a wand that you roll up and down your skin. Its intended to very minimally damage the skin (makes it red and a bit puffy) and force your body to regrow it.
They do it in cosmetic shops, and they have a machine you can get it professionally done with in office for about 1-3K depending on where you live.

Bio Oil works on the butt and legs but I am not sure about stomach. You have to use it 2x per day. It's pretty inexpensive too. My Dad's wife even used it on her surgical scars and saw a huge difference.

Keep in mind that when using any creams or oils, you MUST take the time to massage it into the skin. Most of the healing work is done due to the regular stimulation you're giving the scars. It promotes cell turnover. This is why the rollers help too.

Thread jack, but I wonder how well rolling would help pitted acne scars?

I have a pitted scar that I got in a bike accident when I was 12...so 20 years ago. I've microneedled it with a dr. pen once at 1.5 mm, and have already seen improvement.

My dr. pen is working great for my stretchmarks too! I'm trying to space my treatments. I've done 2 so far at 3.0 mm The last was 5 weeks ago. I am sure my breasts (where my stretch marks are) not only have smaller/fewer marks now, but are perkier too (from collagen induction). I have guys asking me now if my breasts are real, ALL THE TIME! I used to be so insecure about my lack of breast volume relative to skin.

Do it, guys. It's totally worth the $70 for the pen. Rollers worked ok for me, but weren't precise and hurt more imo
..also I had issues with bent needles on rollers, and they don't seem as effective.
