    Default Burnt out in miami

    I need advice.....
I been dancing for almost 2 years but lately I been making really no money during these months. I work at scarltts but I dislike that club before anyone say. I started deans gold but I'm not seeing improvement..... I'm at the point I don't want to go to work. I'm sick and tried of the grabby rude assholes.

Don't suggest vacation because I have bills to pay
And it's not easy getting a job in miami

How should I feel less burnt out? This never happen to me

You and me both... Im an escort in Miami but yeah...the market here SUCKS for us ladies. Add to it the cost of living here and that yeah, its not easy AT ALL to get a job here then yup...no fun. My plan is to get the heck out of dodge as soon as possible. Hopefully by this time next year I'll be able to move and Im heading up north. Id rather deal with snow than snowbirds.

BTW... Ive lived here 15 years...it was only a few months ago that I realized Deans Gold was a strip club It just suddenly occurred to me one day as I was driving by..wow, thats a REALLY big jewelry sto...OOOHHH wait a minute LOL

same here, i keep finding excuses not to go into work. And I thought it's cause I was working at low end clubs. But if it's bad at Dean's Gold, then there's no hope.

Miami can be rough, I stopped going there because I got burned out really fast. My situation there was the same as Crystalize though, I was working at low end nightmarish clubs, but that was because I'm decent but not drop dead gorgeous, tattooed, and curvy so I couldn't get hired at the high end clubs there. Extras are rampant and money can be difficult to make. It's interesting to know that you can get that way in the high end clubs there too. I hope it picks up for you. The only thing I can suggest is finding some relaxing things you enjoy doing before work to get you in a better state of mind. Do you enjoy nature? Try going for a walk. Even relaxing and watching TV shows or playing with your pets (if you have them) before work can help. It can be anything. I've noticed this helps me when I'm burned out and can't afford to take off work. Good luck. <3

Can you get a day job and only dance a few nights a week?

Yeah, something about Miami is if you dont speak fluent Spanish, you're screwed. There are so many jobs I qualify for in my field, that if I lived anywhere else I could get a job easily... but not here. When I was with my ex and trying to be all vanilla, I spent 4 months looking for work and every time I came remotely close, they loved everything about me buuuuuuuut if only I spoke Spanish. As soon as I expanded my search to Broward, I got a job within 2 weeks. But I had a 1.5 hour commute to work.

That sucked some major donkey balls.

i got my license and just need to study for my post exam now... But heres a tip for you... Just study the highlights they go over in class and dont even worry about the rest of the book. I passed the exam my first time but I waited a couple months trying to study before I took the exam..if I could do it over, Idve set up the exam and taken it as soon as the class was over. Everyone else I talked to who was in class for the nth time or others in my office who stressed over it were trying to study everything in the book and waited forever to take the exam. But, everything you need to know to pass, they go over in class and will in your highlights. Save yourself some stress and trust me on this.

Also, even if you dont pass the first time, after your exam you can request a copy of your test to see which answers you missed, and then you'll know what areas you need to focus on studying. So just get it out of the way asap.

It's racism not your lack of Spanish. Latinos get into the hiring/HR positions and it's a wrap. If you'd like info on this, PM me and I'll send you some investigative info on class action suits.
