Default Auditioning at an upscale club, but I can't "dance"

Last night I met someone who had connections and told me I was too good to be at the club I'm currently at, which I hear often. So while I could have called the upscale club myself he is already putting things in motion for me, just because he honestly seems to care and want better for me.
So he said he already talked to the nicer club's manager and to him I'm beautiful and petite etc...and the manager asked if I can dance and he probably bs'd the truth a little because he saw me on stage. I have a lot to learn, I don't know if I even capable of doing the things I've seen a few girls do on stage.
So far I just make money off looking cute and having nice boobs.
I just wing it everytime I get on stage and mostly twirl around the pole. For VIP dances I also wing it and manage to turn them on somehow. However I literally have no moves or rhythm. I wish I could do those tricks with my butt but it does not look the same when I try lol, and even what I can do with my butt is difficult even when I'm alone.

Is there any hope for me. I might not be as bad or clueless as I sound but I am to some degree so any help is appreciated. Thanks so much in advance

hey I went from a dive to upscale which imo I did a bit too soon. They expect a lot from girls in terms of ability and keeping up looks if that makes sense, and are a lot less relaxed with higher fines. Im very new too and Ive heard the same ("your too good to be here, I can find you somewhere better" type stuff) I think its something most new girls get, so Id be really careful with that guy who says he can move you to a better club, he might actually be trying to turn it into something nasty. There again I trust NOBODY. Im probably too new to know anything about this situation but it does sound like a bit of a red flag

Just audition there yourself. If you're a good fit then there's no issue. Many clubs, even nice ones, don't care if you have no rhythm so long as you look good.

This guy has alterior motives for sure. Never ever in this industry will you need a guy to "get you in" anywhere. Either they want to hire you or they don't. You don't need this creeper to "help" you. And he knows that I'm sure- he just wants you to think that.

From my experience upscale clubs tend to care more about looks and weight than dance ability so if you're cute with an upscale friendly look (usually this means thin, good shape, put together, hair and makeup done, very little or no tattoos and piercings) I'm not sure what city you're in but some upscale places don't even have poles on their stage.

I'd agree with the comments above. Don't put too much thought or trust into the customers that tell you "they can get you in" anywhere. I've heard this before too. When customers talk like that they're often regulars at the club they're talking about and overestimate their importance and influence. Just go in yourself and ask for the manager. If he likes you he'll hire you. Good luck. <3

Do not trust that guy. You don't need him to 'get you in' at any club. Why would he want something better for a random stripper he just met? Either he's trying to sleep with you or wants to pimp you out lol. Or maybe it was an excuse to get your number without spending any money on you.

And it doesn't really matter how you dance at upscale clubs. At all the upscale clubs I've gotten hired at they didn't even care to see how I danced they just asked me to change into my outfit and look me up and down. At my club there aren't even poles so it's literally all about how you look.
