Default Cryotherapy is GOLD for dancers

Dancers, do your cryo! and even non dancers, you gotta try it!

I had knee and hip pain from working, so bad that I felt like a grandma and couldn't dance and my money suffered.

Did ONE cry session a few months back and the knee pain was gone, now I found a place where I have a membership and go twice a week. It's life changing. For those who don't know, it's a 3 minute treatment where you are in a booth that kinda is like a stand up tanning bed but open on top. It's really cold, like -240 degrees fahrenheit (don't quote me on that).

Benefits include more energy, helps with joint pain, IBS, migraines, arthritis and many more things.

I'm working a crazy amount of shifts at the moment and there's no way I could do it without cryotherapy.

I've heard about this! I think buzzfeed did a try video about it. It looks interesting, but it's a pass for me. I have raynaud's syndrome & cold triggers it.

I watched a video where Coco Austen (Austin?) did it and one of the fitness models I follow on IG just did it too. It looks interesting and I would try anything once I guess but I also HATE the cold.

it's so beneficial for me, I work 5-6 8 hour shifts a week. there's no way I could do it without cry. I just did my first cry scalp therapy to see if it helps my scalp psoriasis and helps my hair grow back better.

I've been curious about cryotherapy for awhile now, but I despise the cold!!! It sounds so uncomfortable. I've been having lots of tension and soreness in my shoulders and tightness in my hips so it might be beneficial for me once I can pluck up the courage.

This would seem to make sense as my ex who was in the Marines INSISTED cold packs were better for injuries but I preferred a heating pad for my aches & pains.

Thanks for sharing. I will have to try this eventually.

Yeah, he's not wrong on that. I asked the vets at work how in the hell they stacked so many shifts and they all said you have to take a cold soak or shower. I thought they were screwing with me until I tried it. They were on the money. When I have super grueling workouts I hop in an ice bath and I'm right as rain afterwards.

honestly, so far not noticeably. But i've been very stressed which is the main trigger for my psoriasis and I also have skipped a week or so. But the whole body cryo is a necessity for me to be able to keep dancing, no exaggeration.

I would never do cryotherapy (my body responds badly to extremes), but I like this cold shower idea. Hmmm. Interesting!

This must help a lot with inflammation....which is the underlying cause of many ailments. Most docs will give you anti inflammatory meds that only mask the issue but do nothing to resolve it.
