Default Styles for Short Athletic Girls

Anyone have recommendations on outfits and costumes that look good on short girls? I am 4'11" and have an athletic build. Lately I feel like my shoes have been cutting me off making me look even more like an oompa loompa. Also, what tops are good for larger natural breasts (I can't wear string tops for long and finding fitting bras is difficult). Any and all advise appreciated ^_^

Ok don't laugh but Sexy Brazil had some cute outfits for petite girls. usual wack color scheme though.

A lot of shops in LA will alter or custom make dresses.

I feel your pain. I'm barely five feet tall & just can't pull off some looks.

Don't wear those ankle boots..do the tall heels and avoid ankle straps or anything that horizontally "cuts off" your ankle or calf area. Flesh colored heels are a good optical illusion, as are vertical stripes. I also think those super long gowns with the high cut slits up the sides of the leg make you look taller. Either hat or the super short minis that show lots of leg. Basically anything with a good straight linear silhouette. Pile your hair high.

    This is great advice ^^

The other thing about really long skirts/gowns is they help hide the fact that your shoes are insanely tall, making the height appear more "natural" rather than just "tall shoes'.

Halter tops with thicker straps and crop-type halter tops offer a little more support than the traditional triangle tops.

Thanks for all the help! I've never really heard of any of these brands. Excited to check them out. ^_^

Damn a Google search revealed the brand Sexy Brazil exotic dancewear is not made anymore. I had a petite Eastern European friend who rocked that brand & she always looked great (her skin tone worked with the color scheme.) Anyways check those out if some vintage ones are on EBay.

Honestly just try everything on before you buy it. I always wear 8 inch heels at work to compensate for my shortness.

A guy friend told me, shower hair makes you look taller and conversely.

I loved their stuff. I would even wear it to the beach sometimes.

I thought Sexy Brazil clothing & shoes were hilarious/unique but most of the colors clashed with my skin tone. It did work for a lot of other girls.
