    Default Wearing Wigs

I'm so lost on how other dancers keep wigs on their heads while dancing. I very badly wanna wear a wig at work because I wanna protect my hair, if that makes sense.

But I'm so confused about how to get a wig to stay on one's head when you're inverting on a pole, lmao.

So what are y'alls tips and tricks to keeping weaves on your head?

Basically you just need a shit ton of bobby pins. I'm not talking about three or four: more like get 30 of them and attach the wig to your head with them, placing them as evenly as possible so they don't pull on your scalp too much. The more the more comfortable. Also, you might want a shorter wig so it isn't too heavy

Do you know of any good tutorials?

I was gonna go with something just past shoulder length to mimic my real hair.

Also your signature is my life, lmao

Most wigs come with clips on them...I've done flips & headstands in my wig and it's never came off.

I always wear wigs at work, most of them come with wig combs (which basically look like mini combs that you kind of scoop back into your hair). They work great on their own especially if your hair is braided/cornrowed. Ill also use bobby pins along the sides to keep the edges from lifting and make it look more natural. You can tape it down along your edges too using wig tape, I do this in a small place or two usually by the part to keep it down. If you want to make it look super natural use some concealer along the part to blend it in to your scalp. The wig I use at the moment is a pretty silver one with dark roots (i have baby hair that comes out far so any wig I use needs to have dark roots or it looks terribly fake) from a shop on etsy, Hautehair123. The other nice one I have is from evawigs.com, they have in stock and do custom and their all beautiful human hair wigs. There are a bunch of tutorials on youtube on how to secure wigs with different techniques, so that could help you too if you're not sure what you wanna use!
